"Damsel in the Red Dress" is the original story's title, not the title of the sequel, which is what the art is for.

Ooh, nice guess. I'll give one hint, for you and anyone else. It follows a similar naming convention to the original book so the title includes a noun, a preposition, and an adjective that describes a second noun. (but be forewarned, in other contexts the adjective might be a noun of it's own...)

I thought it was going through the color spectrum (Book one is red, book two would be orange, book three yellow, book four green, book five blue, and the final book being purple (unless there is an indigo one in between).

Ahh, that's a good guess, and the cover colors might do that, but the naming convention at least, isn't going to mention the color the cover revolves around in each book.

(that is legitimately what one of my relatives suggested tho, and I do happen to have a chapter title that includes the word indigo.)

for a real guess though, is your new title maybe "The living stone?" or "the stone man?"

Honestly, this is a volume cover (Simply named Volume 2).

When I posted mine, I was kind of anticipating that people would try to guess the name of the book as a whole.

Exactly.

Though I do have unofficial titles for the volumes, or specifically their primary arcs, for instance Volume 1 would probably be "Year One". My current unofficial name for Volume 2, on the other hand, would be spoilers, and as a result, I will not reveal it until after the volume is finished. However, I will say it involves a character name, and it is likely impossible to guess until the actual reveal.
