My main character is the vampire Ezekiel Blake. He's 6’6”, muscular, has a deep tan, a strong aquiline nose, a scar running down his right cheek, long brown hair, a short ducktail beard with a handlebar mustache, and cornflower-blue eyes. He typically wears a double-breasted suit with pinstripes, sateen dress shirt, silk necktie with a tie clip, black-and-white spectator shoes, and black leather gloves. His favored hat is a black fedora, and his favored coat is a black trenchcoat. In the first novel, he's gifted a sword cane with a gold handle decorated with the bust of an archangel.
In my novel's universe, all vampires have sharp fangs, pointed ears, small vestigial tails, black claws, and dark fur covering their hands and feet (they usually wear gloves and long hair to hide their hands and ears). A vampire’s eyes glow red if the vampire is excited, and the pupils will thin into snakelike slits if the vampire is angry. A vampire’s complexion will turn deathly white when the vampire becomes excited or angry.
