"Stop what you’re doing—right now!"
Ashley Roderick, poised to strike his human slave, froze as a stranger stepped forward, blocking his movement with unwavering resolve.
The mysterious figure, Aiden Connor, locked eyes with Ashley, his voice calm but commanding.
"A human daring to stop me?" Ashley sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. "Do you have a death wish, or are you simply a fool?"
The stranger didn’t flinch. His calm demeanor only seemed to infuriate Ashley further.
"Why? Do you want to take his place?" Ashley taunted, gesturing to the trembling slave at his feet.
Aiden didn’t flinch. "Sure. What’s the harm? I, Aiden Connor, will gladly become your slave. You can use me however you please—on one condition. You stop bullying others. How does that sound?"
Ashley, enraged by Aiden’s audacity, slapped his hand away roughly. "I didn’t ask for your full name, moron! And who allowed you to make yourself familiar with me?!"
"Oh, I am sorry. I thought it was okay for me to do that," Aiden looked surprised by his attitude just now. "Did I do something wrong—"
Before he could finish, Ashley hurled his backpack at him.
"Carry my bag. Didn’t you just volunteer to be my slave?"
