If you were to make a game based off of the world your story is set in, what would you create?

For me, I've set up these really cool horde-based enemies called "soulless", and I'd really like to make a game based off of them! I'd imagine it'd be a 4-player co-op shooter like Left 4 Dead or Darktide, maybe with elements mixed in of the likes of Call of Duty: Zombies.

I'd want to really capitalize on the unique incendiary and EMP weaponry of the sci-fi setting I've made, both of which being some of the soulless horde's biggest weaknesses. On top of that, I'd really want to encapsulate dread, and make use of very dimly-lit environments where the only thing giving you light is your weapons muzzle flashes and the flickering lights, creating a stop-motion effect as the soulless are only briefly seen in snapshots.

What would your ideal game be? What would it encapsulate using the gaming medium that your story just can't do with its current restraints? Give me all your fun details, and be sure to pop your link down below, too!

An open world game set during the reign of Vanderbilt the Tyrant. Either that, or an FPS with Zeta Toad or an open world game about Ragnar at the Academy.

Psychoborg would be a linear RPG with a few side quests and deep plot.

Frankenstein would be an open world where Prometheus saves patients and takes down bad guys.

"Damsel in the Red Dress" would have a game like "Choices: Stories you play" where you read the dialog but kind of get to choose your own story.

"Hushabye Prince" would be a zen digital coloring app with soothing music like healing tones and super aesthetic black and white art for you to color at will.
