Serious and introverted Kiera Moss is the daughter of the charismatic Rebecca Moss, a legendary fighter equipped in powered armor suits called Interceptors, who fights the zombie-like wolves that appeared out of red portals, called Gashes, 30 years ago. Kiera is also the sole heir to Interceptor Technologies, the company leading the fight against the monsters.

When her mother dies on an expedition into a Gash, Kiera’s only option to save the company and the world’s main fighting force is to impersonate her mother using an advanced cloaking device. Kiera must grieve her mother in secret, fill her shoes, and figure out what went so wrong on the expedition.

Karamador is a medieval-reneissance fantasy series with anthro characters, set in a world called Karamador, inhabited by humans and anthro animals called anhinis. We mostly follow the adventures of Sir Kiljaos Windmane the lion paladin of wind and his companions. Sir Kiljaos is a wandering paladin and a wind elemental who travels around his homeland Pohjoland and the other parts of Karamador as knight errant, fighting the forces of chaos and helping those in need

Multiple of my characters from Shadowbird have fire powers! Destiny is a nonbinary mage trying to hide their powers. This becomes impossible when they accidentally set a creep on fire. Following that, their adoptive family helps them find a mentor who had to learn control early because of his own fire magic, and he teaches Des magical theory and control, and several more reasons to resist the Empire they live in besides the fact that Destiny is teeeeeechnically an outlaw now.
Also, Destiny's crow familiar is probably the cutest fire mage ever in my totally unbiased opinion. They're a crow and they have fire magic because their person has fire magic.

Branton Inphernos. A neytive who possess Fire Kin-gen, Searing Lungs and Scorch Flight.

One of the many characters introduced, Branton lives a secluded life along with his brothers. After surviving a deadly rebellion, they're lives have been uprooted, those close to them have turned on each other, and their island paradise is now in ruins. To make matters worse, he can no longer express his emotions.

When the opportunity comes to do some good and find a new home, Branton is given the chance to join a interstellar voyage. This means leaving behind what remains of his family and exposing himself to new and old dangers. If his acceptance means his brothers will be safe, he'll keep the fire going.
