Milo, a cheerful yet impoverished college student, navigated his days with a smile despite his financial struggles. However, his life took a dark turn when he witnessed a cold-blooded murder by a menacing tall man. The murderer noticed him, and from that moment on, Milo felt the man's eyes on him everywhere.

One evening, Milo found his parents at the mercy of the same tall man. To save their lives, his parents shockingly offered Milo's marriage to the murderer. "Please, take our son instead," his mother pleaded. "He'll marry you. He'll do anything you want. Just spare our lives."

Milo felt his world tilt as the words sank in. "Marry this man?" His mind reeled at the thought, but he saw the steely resolve in the man's eyes, the gun still aimed at his parents.

The tall man considered their proposal, his eyes never leaving Milo. After a long, tense moment, he lowered his weapon. "Very well," he said. "Your son will come with me."

Milo's life changed in an instant. The cheerful college boy who once worried about exams and part-time jobs was now bound to a man whose presence alone instilled fear.

If anyone is interested in a RoFan novel about a female lead getting transported in another world, please check out my work!

A young woman woke up in her favourite open-world roleplaying game as an NPC, a lady named Lilivienne. As she recalled the game lore, she remembered Lilivienne’s tragic fate. Lilivienne was meant to die during the destruction of the kingdom perpetrated by a popular character Zathrian Lestrange, an SSR anti-hero—right before the arrival of the protagonist. To change the fate of her new life as Lilivienne Van der Horst, she set out on a mission to save Zathrian from the evil path. But there was a problem, it seemed she caught the interest of both the anti-hero and the protagonist.

I dropped my new novel yester for Tapas new contest, which is an action fantasy, modern guide verse, BL. I know not many people cover how Espers/Hunters/Dungeon Closer events started - so I thought I'd delve into that! I've subbed to everyone above!

Dogmatic Dungeon Dominion

In a world where the ordinary collides with the extraordinary, the boundary between reality & the supernatural has become dangerously thin. As dungeons—hazardous rifts to other realms teeming with monstrous threats—begin to appear across the city, humanity’s last line of defence is the Hunter Association. At the heart of this crisis is Penn Jennson, a newly awakened Guide for Hunters (Espers/Awakeners) whose life is about to change dramatically.

At 27, Penn has left a promising military career to embrace his new role as a Guide. Guides, psychically linked with Hunters — individuals with extraordinary powers—navigate & seal the perilous dungeons that erupt throughout the city. Penn’s transition from soldier to Guide is rocky, especially when paired with Nathan Landry, a veteran Hunter known for his aloof demeanour & reckless tendencies.

Nathan, a seasoned Hunter, contrasts sharply with Penn’s disciplined, strategic mindset. Their partnership is strained, as Penn is methodical & focused on the greater good, while Nathan is impulsive & often dismissive of rules.

With dungeons appearing with alarming frequency, each a labyrinth of darkness filled with nightmarish creatures, Penn & Nathan must enter these dungeons, confront their inhabitants & seal them before the monsters can escape. Each mission tests their skills & teamwork, pushing their limits. Penn must adapt to his role & support Nathan while Nathan wrestles with his own demons and growing responsibilities.

As they delve deeper, they uncover a disturbing pattern suggesting the dungeons are part of a larger, sinister scheme. Navigating treacherous traps and confronting formidable dungeon bosses, they face a darkening cityscape where trust is scarce, & every decision could mean the difference between salvation and destruction.

Amid the chaos, Penn struggles with the loss of his former life and his growing attachment to Nathan - while Nathan battles a haunted past that threatens to push his Guide away.

And this is also my BL Fantasy Romance Novel with both wholesomeness and angst that I've released 2 months ago:

The Grave You Made

In a kingdom, where opulence reigns and secrets pile high, the annual week-long founding festival and ball occur within the palace walls. Nobles from far and wide gather at the detached palace for nights filled with masquerade balls, lavish dinners, and whispered intrigues.

Amidst the splendour of the gardens, Kaisan, an enchanting young man adorned in silk and lace, finds himself swept into a whirlwind romance when he encounters Rhaegal, a charming stranger lost in the revelry of the night. Mistaken identities lead to a fateful dance in the fountain, where laughter mingles with the sweet taste of wine and stolen kisses.

As the festival unfolds, Rhae and Kaisan's bond deepens with each passing moment, their days filled with stolen moments of passion and deep bonds. But when a truth is revealed at the grand dinner on the final evening, betrayal shatters their fragile connection, leaving Kaisan adrift in a sea of despair and confusion.

As Kaisan's fragile state threatens to consume him amidst the whispers of madness and rumours of tragedy, an offering of solace in the darkest of nights and unwavering devotion in the face of uncertainty may be the only path to healing.

With each tender touch and whispered word, Rhae strives to reclaim the heart of the man he once abandoned, praying that their love will be enough to guide them through the darkest of nights and into the dawn of a new day.

I have been writing a fae novel - watch out tho, it's an adult and violent tale.

I made a risky move, making a villain one of two main characters. Lorian is morally black, and dark and is not your typical fairy

Check it, if you like dark fae, cruel realities and darkness!

Thank you so much for this thread! I appreciate any curious new readers! Here's the synopsis and link:

A cyborg crusader must find out who he truly is after escaping the clutches of his mysterious creator. He must learn to navigate the inner workings of himself while also navigating a mysterious, apocalyptic fantasy world.

Follow Terry, Katrina, and an ever-growing group of outcasts and misfits as they go to school, put up with their idiot classmates and prepare for a life of pre-established gender roles, mind-numbing societal obligations, and soul-crushing reality.

(Not that they haven’t had a dose of it already, but still…)

It’s about the journey from ignorance to awareness, from childhood to maturity, and dealing with people who would much rather remain ignorant children…or, in some cases, wish other people would remain ignorant children.

It’s also quite funny in places.

Things are said. Funny things. Occasionally insightful. Sometimes disagreeable.
