I'm sorry, but with the first episode I just feel very confused. I understand the beginning for the most part, and it's pretty eye-catching but when Polypedes enters the story it becomes difficult to read. I don't know whether they are male or female, or both? They end up switching pronouns throughout the whole episode and at the very beginning the spelling for their name goes from "Polipedes" to "Polypedes", was that purposeful?
Either way, I like the beginning and beginnings of books are really important. You might need to go back and re-read some of the action/moving sentences among other things, but I can see this going pretty far if fixed!
