Clipstudio is holding a contest to celebrate the 10th-anniversary #ClipStudioCommunityDay2022 for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok (for those who are interested, entering.)

Anyway, I enter using my MC Xepholen from my comic Infinite Strike because he is one of the oldest illustrations I have that I am willing to share with the media. And I was baffled by the result. It's interesting to see how much you have improved once you compare your own drawing to a very old one. Only looking in improving further.
so If there anyone who wants to share the original design of their Main Character from their comics to the most current illustration?
Just post the oldest illustration and compare it to the most recent to that same character (put the year of the art)

Great improvement, especially in the use colours and shading!

I have no idea what my oldest illustration with my MC, Kestrel, is. The oldest I could find on my dA is this halloween illustration from 2013 (Kestrel is on the left), but I'm pretty sure there was something older, because I think I already had a cover for the series done (which was later replaced). What happened to that drawing? Where is it now? Did it even exist? I have no idea. Anyway, here's the 2013 one:

Alfredo sure looks different in the updated Key Render that fits the Comic Art-style more (by the same Artists), than the final concept art made before starting (The previous Artist).

Ooh, I have some older versions of my characters which look a bit different to how they do now (even if I'm still very early into publishing my comic at the moment )

This is Nina from Nina, I Will say, there has been a lot of improvements indeed. Her previous color palette was too muted so I changed things up a bit. I really am happy with her current color palette.

Here is my character Samar. Her first design from 2010 and the latest from 2022.

This is Stijn. He's kind of still not in the comic. He got his first design in 2010, but I went with 2012 one here because it's more similar to the one now.

Anyway, you can see them both in my comic.

Technically There's 8 MCs in Galactiquest, but Leon is the first one that appears (and the most recent!) so I'll just stick to him.
