I used to do this but gave up when I realised majority of those followers wanted to see only specific story's fanart. There were maybe a handful of people who were interested in my original works, everyone else would just leave at a hint I might be posting less fanart. :joy:

What is Reddit like? I wanted to try it few years ago but people were warning not to talk about your comics there because some Redditors liked to downrate comics they didn't even read just because you posted a link to your comic. I left Instagram and Twitter, because I feel like it's pointless. I …

Sadly, you can't tune it. This annoys me as well because every time I see notifications I get excited it's a new like or a comment and it's... ads for series. The "mark all read" button is buggy. So just click it several times if you have to and it should clear up the notifications.

I recently changed some text in the first part of my comic - I wrote it in an archaic way and later I switch to more everyday english, so now the older episodes match the newer ones. And this wasn't hard to update on Webtoon because I had scrolling format episodes there from the start. But, I fir…

In Estra, the dark elf court, queen Neeva finds out about the escape: "How long ago?" [image]

World of Warcraft, Detroit: Become Human, Batman: Arkham Asylum. I really love playing the old Simpsons and Donald Duck platformers too, years ago. I couldn't finish Assassin's Creed 2 at the time I played it because my computer wasn't that good, but I really enjoyed that game. This reminded me I …

Oooh, this is a tough one. That there isn't really one main character but it follows several ones. I'm writing it a bit like a group of adventurers (even though they're not yet all together). There are several story lines but they're all interconnected. There are some small details that may seem…

I don't think about it. Sometimes I read a chapter or a story and I just forget to leave a like. Sometimes things happen in life that I pause reading a comic for months then go back to it. I'm sure the same happens with others and they'll get back to it eventually. In any case, there will be other p…

To finish writing chapter 4 and start publishing it online.

I finished the cover for "Blood Bound - book 4" today and wanted to share. If you want to, share your latest chapter cover with me in the thread below! [image]

Some do and some don't. No one actually asked to see it except one guy who only got interested after he saw how many subscribers I had. I don't really care since most of these people wouldn't like this type of story anyway. shrugs A few of the comic artists I met in real life had read it though, and…

You kind of excluded a big chunk of jobs with this list. As someone already said, no matter what job you chose, you will have some responsibility. I can suggest making and managing WordPress websites or another CMS system/Webshop with WYSIWYG editors (like Elementor for WordPress). You don't real…

One of the types of magic in my comic world is blood magic, which is considered very dark and it's forbidden, and one of the main characters is cursed with it. In universe people who have blood magic cast on them are said to be "blood bound" because the caster literally binds the spell to the person…

Thanks for the heads up! Shared with art friends.

Clip Studio Paint because it covers almost everything. It's awesome for coloring, and has so much tools. I'm still getting used to drawing on it though; haven't found that perfect pencil brush yet. The only thing I find Procreate easier for is inking. And I also love it of course because it's on a…

I agree with what everyone else said. The second one is much better. I would just make the red for "Chains of Command" even lighter. The red from the character's jacked could work maybe. I'd also maybe try to split it into 2 lines like this: CHAINS OF COMMAND So that it's bigger and more readabl…

Um. You guys had a choice? [:shook_01:] Jokes aside, it doesn't feel like it was a choice to me. I tried to quit drawing comics countless times in the past. Yet every time I quit they haunt me. I fell in love with the medium as a kid and just kept doing it. There wasn't a moment where I went "o…

This doesn't worry me. Until someone comes up with an AI that can execute every whim of a client while having the ability to read what it is that they are actually asking for plus process what they're asking for through artistic terms to give them what they actually need - no human is getting replac…

Nah, I am not waiting to finish this so I can work on the next thing. The comic I'm posting here will take years to finish. I already work on smaller, 10-20 page comics on the side. And I have 2 graphic novels planned. One mini comic and one novel I do plan to pitch to publishers, because I can't…

Here are some of mine. And like, the main theme for the romantic duo of the comic:

I don't know if there are older webcomic readers here, but I feel like Webtoons and social media have completely messed up the readership with their insane standards for the speed comics "have" to be created at. 10-20 years ago, it was perfectly normal for a free webcomic to update 1 page a week. …

Honestly, at this point - ask yourself if there's anything actually important to the plot in that scene. If not: cut it for Tapas. If the answer is "yes": just rewrite and redraw those few pages for Tapas to comply with guidelines. Or to at least comply with putting a Mature rating on them. You …

Thanks! I'm in awe of everyone who draws bicycles, those things are complicated. It's tiring to draw backgrounds sometimes, especially detailed ones but they really set the mood. I do cheat on closeups sometimes and just slap a gradient in the background.

This is the last published page of my comic. The main characters are really in a pickle lately. :grimacing: [image]

I love the murder mysteries, sometimes even horror. But my absolute favorite is fantasy adventures or the first two mixed with fantasy. I just like to pretend I'm a little hobbit on a big journey.

Hello, Mr Sunshine! He looks really nice

@TheSingularitySeed @lizardlullabye It looks awesome though! The level of details on both of your works really paid off [:heart_01:] @UrMom Oh, wow and it's traditionally colored? That's a lot of time but it looks good.

Thanks! Just the perspective rulers in Procreate. I know some people use 3D models, but it takes me more time to set those up than to draw like this. The chairs are the bane of my existence. I can't draw characters sitting. Your drawing looks cool, I love the bright colors.
