Long live coffee addicts!

And unfortunately, no. I like my coffee black. But that idea sounds tempting...
Love many kinds of bread though! Especially walnut.

Pumpkin and chocolate zucchini bread is yummy. Also so it strawberry.

My grandma used to make hot chocolate, like rich mexican style hot chocolate and then get agua de pan (sweet bread) to dip it in. An awesome Puerto Rican trear for the holidays

You're making me hungry :joy:
I shall try dipping bread into my coffee tomorrow morning.
Will report results!

I will now be partaking of my daily latte. Fall as fallen upon us thus I shall ask for a pump of pumpkin spice. The drink of us basic bitches. Cause basic is awesome.

This is me:
I, Lars Laustsen, is a man with word blindness (Dyslexia). But it will not hold me back to write and tell my story.
Also, the English language is not my first language. But I do hope that you find my story interesting and my context readable.

By more remakes than a normal writer, I fight to get my story down, from my mind to the written words.
But I will write, I will tell my fantasy story.
I truly hope that you will enjoy it, as much as I enjoy making it.

I'm a 20 years old studying sciences and writing to escape my rational side from times to times. My stories and poems and all sort of writing shows my head inside-out and they feel like a hidden side-portrait of myself.

This seems pretty interesting. I'm a 29 year old dude living in the deep south of the united states. I work a mostly dead end job with no desire to climb the chain. I'd rather work on several novel series each interconnected in a way that I'll get into later. I've always loved how steven king manages to connect all of his novels and I want to do something like that while still having the novel series each be self contained enough to read independently. I have done some college but in was for a tech degree that I had to take some time off for my mental health because of circumstances at the time. I've spent a considerable amount of time in the past 5 years trying to ensure that when i started my novel two months ago it wouldnt be unreadable to my own standards. I spend most of my spare time when not writing palying video games, watching anime/ movies/ and various shows. 80 or so percent are chosen to try and figure out how to write a better story

I am a 24 year old "woman" (still feel like im not old enough to be called that??) I went to school for film and screen writing. I currently work as a graphic designer in one of the most southern states in the US (Mississippi) lol. I am originally from NC. I love dogs, fantasy-romance novels, and all things fae.
I enjoy editing (I am weird I know), writing, and binge watching Netflix shows.
I usually write and read novels about fae, elves, or some sort of immortal warrior.

Hi! I am Soham from India. I am 24 years old and have just completed my masters. I am relatively new in tapas forum. The idea of creating my own comic came by starting as a reader on tapas and webtoon. So, drawing is my newly developed hobby. I also love to sing( mostly Hindi songs, also old bengali songs) and am a pluviophile. I love watching horror and thriller movies and anime of the same genre (if anyone loves horror, check out the anime 'Monster'... it is a masterpiece). I like your idea about creating a comicverse with Indian characters. Good luck. As you are 15 years old, I guess your board exams are near. So, study well and best of luck for that!

I’m so sorry to hear about your struggle. My wife had the same problem with her Family and she tell me stories about how she got punished for no reason. Luckily her mom wasn’t much a part of it and eventually came around to understand her.
It’s great you never gave up on yourself and are happy now. Your LBGTQ family love you!!

Ok now that I have taken the time to read through all the lovely replies, here is me!

I am a 28 year old biracial women living in Alabama, ya’ll. I am happily married and have two fur babies! I am a Librarian by day, though my co-workers indulge my artistic vomit that sometimes happens during work hours. It’s fine with them mainly because I am a programing Librarian and in order to succeed in that job you must be a little spazzy and artistic. I got my BA in Art History, and have worked in elder care and museums before magically getting suck into and completely consumed by Library work.
My dream is to create comics that will eventually be published and show up on Library shelves all over America.

Diversity and representation is another passion of mine, that I strive to show in my comics. I believe there are certain assumptions people have of the south and of other people that are different from them in general. As an openly gay women of color I have encountered some bad vides but I have also been embraced with much love, and that is what I want to spread. Love and understand through comics!

Entertainment to me is an easy non judgmental way to learn more about others in a safe place. I hope that people read my comics and enjoy them and get use to seeing diversity all around them. That they also embrace the different voices with diverse stories to tell and seek out more media to consume from other creators that have something to add to the melting pot of the world.

When I am not doing any of that, I read a lot of inspirational and self help books. I also like doing little crafts and cooking.

I'm 20, from the U.S. I'm a nursing student, and absolutely love everything I have been learning. Whenever I'm not doing school work, I like to draw mandalas and sit in nature c: I enjoy writing poetry for myself to look back on. I also love getting piercings and tattoos whenever possible. Not much else to promote, I'm kinda lame xP

Hello, first of all, I made a short introduction of myself in my normal profile but this is a good chance to be more detailed.

I'm "Toushiro Youkai Amatsuda", the last name is just a bonus btw, that's not my real name, but no matter right?, I'm 18 year old, living in Brazil, I write and read a lot, I do not study nor work (for now that is), and I'm supported by my mother, birthday is March 13th.

I don't mean to brag (since it wasn't a good thing before a while ago) but I have an imagination that reaches a whole new level, it may be normal for writers to fantasize a lot but mine goes beyond the human limit.
An example: I could see some words that reminded me of something and simply stay hours looking to nowhere just by going from one memory to another and creating stories on which I may not even be included, and If i'm not suddenly woken up, I may not even forget about what I imagined.

I do not have the patience to draw, but I can read hundreds of chapters per day without batting an eye, and I could even animate what I read if i closed my eyes and tried a little.

My objective is to create a Fantasy World and to travel through it all, learning as much as possible, that'd be my favorite story.

Alright, i'll promote myself a bit.

Hi, my name is Cesar! I'm not gonna pronounce my last name since people tend to get it wrong all the time . I'm a 19 year old male and a mechanical engineering student. I'm in my second year now so i'm not a freshman anymore.

Another thing that I can tell about myself is that I have autism and went to a special school for kids with only autism. My autism doesn't get in my way nowadays as it did years before though.

I love to draw! I've been drawing since I was little! I've also been playing around with making comics for years, though it's only since a year and a half that I really got into it.

Nice to meet you all

I'm Isa, I'm from Spain, almost 20 and I'm studying mechanical engineering (high five @realdualdragons >:D) and industrial design.

Drawing is the thing I like the most by far, but I also love videogames (but I'm like, super específico with them, I love them with a passion but only a couple, it's hard for me to start new games for some reason x'D), my faves are Kingdom Hearts and Undertale/Deltarune.

I also do rp, mainly with my gf, it's the best thing to develop characters and it's super fun <3.

Besides that I really like messing up with my friends, making up silly memes our of nowhere to spark some joy in them <3.

Lastly I'm almost always listening to music (panic! At the Disco, set it off, some musical's soundtracks...) and I enjoy watching anime/movies from time to time. I used to be super into anime before but now I get angry with most of them x'D

Mechanical engineers rise up!
We're gonna take over the world with our machinery :smiling_imp:

Everyone has such unique stories to tell I feel like I could make a comic on this topic with everyone's life described in a chapter. :joy:
