“Ohhh, I’ve missed this,” she sighed, taking a long swig of her beer. Ash snorted softly, sitting in the chair nearby, a small circular table the only thing separating them.
“They don’t have better views than this in Europe?” Ash said, popping the cap off his own bottle and tossing it into a nearby trash can.
“Some places do,” Alice said. “Norway and Iceland have some incredible Aurora Borealis, and Scotland is so sparsely populated, there’s not enough light pollution to hide the incredible views of the Kanaki River and the Milky Way. But this?” She gestured to the vast expanse before them. “Nothing beats this.”
Ash grinned. “You’re biased.”
“I’m entitled to be.”
NEW CHAPTER DROP!!!
Coby learns how Ash got his name, Ash reveals more of his history, and Ash and April have a heart-to-heart over a few beers.
Part 2 is rated M
Also, if you haven’t had a chance to read the last chapter, since I didn’t promote it like I ought to have done, do so! The last two parts are rated M. Well, hell, why not just catch up on the first 11 chapters as a whole? I’d dig that.
