Wow, I've browsed through the first couple chapters and all I can think of is the French affair of the poisons. Ophelia is one step away from offering "inheritance potions". As a fellow history nerd and gothic writer I love the time periods that are influencing your work and would like to promote your work on my wall.
Hit me back if your interested and great work so far.

I think that's pretty good! Right now I have "If you enjoy slowburn romance and some mafia ties check out "Red Dragon Part 1: Broken" by ZakuraTheFungi" so if there's anything you want me to add let me know!

"If you enjoy slowburn romance with mafia and supernatural twists check out "Red Dragon Part 1: Broken" by ZakuraTheFungi" would be more fitting. There are mafia related themes, but it isn't as prevalent as the more supernatural aspect of the story so I would like for both of those to be mentioned ^_^

Okay! I totally blanked on the fact that you had supernatural things in your book, so I'll make sure to include that as well

Wow we are set in almost the same time period. I'm also addicted to pirates of the Caribbean. Would you be down for a promo swap?

Mine is 1737 assassins and romance. I think some of our audience overlaps!

If you'd like me to add one, yes! You can leave the link here or DM it to me, however you prefer.

Here's mine (graphic design is my passion):

here's my webtoon series! i would prefer to promo with another webtoon artist if thats possible. If you also have a slice of life/romance series, I would love to promo with you! Just DM me and i'll sort out the details.

I have some pirates later on, but is much less pirate-adventure, and more some weird magic bullshit, in roughly the same century and fun witty banter.

Yeah, I have an idea, if @crisyah and others are down for it.

(Mostly b/c I'm also trying to get more writing circles together)
I'm trying to practice making promos and what not.

My gothy vibe leans more witchy, floral, and Edgar Allan Poe....but I suspect we're all like ' yeaaaah, black'

Hey Hey!

Thanks so much! You may have to send me a link about that, bc that sounds fascinating. I will admit, before I sat down to write this, I had never given much thought to the time period. I was far more into late Medieval and Renaissance, and was doing an insane amount of research in the Victorian/Edwardian/Gilded era for a comic I was writing (and still am, but for later).

But, in just the few months of fashion research, oh man, I'm in love with the dresses. Like, holy shit-buckets, Batman. The clothing is GORGEOUS! And then men's clothing equally so. Just chef's kiss that shit.

Yah, yah, yah, let's promo some shit!

Hi there! Here's my novel if anyone is interested, I'm going through the thread to check out other series.
Keep up the great work everyone! đź–¤

Genre: Drama, Romance, LGBTQ+

Warnings: Mental health issues, cursing, violence, abuse and bullying

I'm dowmn for anything, just let me know what you have in mind :eyes:

Black, plus the House names (Roses, Crosses and Wings) pretty much define the entire aesthetics of my series.

If anyone here likes action-adventure novels that have anime like feels then do check out my work
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy

.If anyone also has something similar feel free to reply to me or inbox me and let's do a promo for promo Thanks in advance. I will see if I also find anything here to my taste...

Lol with pleasure, here's the britannica and wikapedia page on it for a brief overview, long story short a lot of French aristocrats dropped dead and there was a massive scandal involved. It had everything from witchcraft accusations to possible arson to cover up the evidence. Some even say the King himself was responsible for the closed trial because no one could know what went down.

There are also a ton of books and podcast episodes on this if you want to dive deeper, it fits your story to a T.

And will promote your lovely murder story on my wall!

YAS.

Thank you.

Also, thank you for the shout-out, I will be making mine shortly.

Not currently seeing much that looks like a fit for my comic, but I'll put mine out there in case somebody comes along...

Genres are drama, comedy, horror (....eventually, it's taking a while to get there).

Themes are high school, bullying, bit of an enemies-to-lovers subplot, confidence games, the consequences of one's actions, and eventual supernatural(ish) horror and crime.

12 episodes published at the moment.

Nope! And I'm honestly terrible at naming stuff, so if you or anyone has any ideas, feel free to throw suggestions!

Heya! Here's my comic if anyone is interested in doing a promo!

My comic is a supernatural mystery (it's starting to get into the supernatural aspect but not that much yet as it's still fairly new). It's quite similar to Gravity Falls actually, especially in the main characters and the entire supernatural mystery of it. The comic itself isn't horror though and won't contain extremely terrifying imagery or themes. There may be some mildly disturbing topics, but nothing too disturbing (though again, nothing much has happened since the comic is only 2 chapters in)

If you also have a supernatural comic of any kind, I'd love to do a promotion for it! Just dm me and we can discuss the details there

Realizing I never promo'd my story in this thread.

Mine is historical BL comedy/romance. I'm down to feature with anybody who's interested. Currently my story has 20 chapters and 104 subscribers.

My comic is a fantasy/action story, which involves humanity evolving physically and mentally to weaponize the energy from their own soul in order to create powers and abilities. I'm creating a unique/compelling story in which I love to write. Demons, orcs, animalistic humans and mysterious figures with god-like powers, this story isn't suited for younger views.
If you're interested in checking out my story, please click the link below. I have over 19 episodes spanning from 5 different chapters

I think this is a great idea and I will work with any comics or novels that fit the comedy or Slice of Life Genre.

Title: Bird Brain Comics

Description: Meet Random a Red Cardinal who enjoys prop comedy and annoys his fellow feathered friends with different objects that he finds in the human world. Then, greet Norton, in a fancy way, as he is an Odd Ostrich who finds fulfillment by messing with the comic reality that surrounds him.

Publishing Schedule: Every Thursday

Oohh, this is a wonderful idea.
My comic is kinda niche so I'm not sure if it ... fits in with a lot of stories here. It's also rather small at 22 subs on Webtoon and 19 on Tapas. It's also fairly new. I've uploaded 10 pages so far and update weekly.
It's a historical-ish story about famous composers (or currently a famous composer) in the afterlife, which is ... kind of a low fantasy setting. The story is kind of ... slice of life, drama, some comedy and, most of all, an excuse for me to geek out about music and history. :joy:
So if anyone's interested, I'd be very happy to crosspromote, but if it's not your thing, then I'm not mad.

'Of Bones and Blooms'
BlackOrchid & SodiumMetal

(here's the thumbnail, if that helps, or I can go grab the cover)

I'm open to whenever. I may actually just make a whole 'Author's Note' episode, which I have to do anyway, that way people who only use the app can also see.

I saw it! Thank you!

I'm totally screenshot'ing all of these to put in my folder for when I feel depressed about everything. Thanks for the kind words!

I have everyone's line up and saved, just gotta read <3

I'm an idiot and forgot the author wall doesn't show up on the app.

I'll make an author's note chapter for your and @sarahmassey998 's shout outs today. It's my birthday and I was gonna beg for likes and shares, anyway, so I might as well take the chance and ask for subs for you guys, as well!

Yup!

I'm already subbed to you and all over twitter.

Happy Birthday! A toast to another revolution around the sun that mocks us. <3

Okay! I'm just referring to us as Goth-Squad b/c it makes me laugh. LOL.

Lol, Happy Birthday and let's raise our skull mugs to one day further from the cradle and step closer to cremation.
I don't have a twitter but I'll keep shoving my readers in your direction.
And don't you make up a name like Goth-Squad unless you have the matching t-shirts to back it up! :hype_01:

Thank you! And @blackorchid too! My knees will be glad for the warmth of the flames at this point, really.

I agree! Gothic-squad is what we are and I need merch!

:open_mouth: Thank you :heart_01:
I'll definitely go through the comics posted here and think of a promotion template... As soon as my immune system has calmed down. :joy:
I really want to promote some of the comics here too (regardless of whether they promote mine or not), maybe link to them on our canvas gems Twitter too

Sweet, Will do!
I will probably post the feature in a status update to subscribers this weekend. I have a big chapter coming out (a 5,000 word sex scene) so ill have a lot of eyes on it. Is that okay?

Goth-Squad, ASSEMBLE

LOL

:heart_03:

Yah, we're gonna have merch, duh. It's all black. That's it. Just black.
