The internet isn't dead or going to be crushed, guys. It'll just be a bit shittier. But not dead and not the end of the world.
It's serious and we need to care but going "this and that site won't survive" and freaking out TOO much might actually end up hurting the internet because it will affect people's feelings and the way they act online. People might read less webcomics, consume and watch less content etc. This is common consumer behavior when they feel like crisis is present, even if it isn't as bad as they believe. By doing this it might become a self fuflilling prophecy. Internet users themselves might be the straw that break the camel's back of some sites.
It can also make people feel like hope is lost and that there's no way to regain lost rights.
Let's be angry, but not panicked. Panicked people rarely make good choices. Or good protests for that matter.
