Basically, do it with the knowledge that eventually down the road, you're going to need permission. 9 out of 10 times get permission to use anything that's been copyrighted by someone else.
One instance I can recall hearing the use of a song lyric in comics is in the graphic novel American Born Chinese, where a character sings a piece of the song "She Bangs" by William Hung (that said, I think it was being used as a form of mockery...? I never read the book).
If you plan on selling this comic as a print book when it's done, you might want to consider not using previously copyrighted material, or prepare to ask for permission.
