On April 5th an eerie sound was heard across Heavensea leading to several individuals displaying unusual abilities mostly based around states of matter (liquid, solid, gas, plasma etc) but worse, also becoming carriers of a horrid outbreak. Anyone these carriers make contact with would instantly become man eating monsters! One of the MCs, Evan has a bad reaction while hearing the sound and pukes out a lifeform that grows to colossal size and lays waste to the country and further spreads the outbreak!

Beware of creepy hums today!

Its a fantasy story, so they don't really have dates like we do, but the story starts at the beginning of summer!

My story is a fantasy story, but because one of the characters was someone from our world I needed to figure out a rough time frame for when Rose got Isekai’d. I don’t have a specific date, but Rose story starts around late spring 2023, but in Rose 01, there is a one panel flashback to 2019, at her parents funeral, a few weeks before covid. Since time in the fantasy world flows at the same time as the real world, Corrine's story is set around mid 2026.

In real life - started on Jan 3rd, which is a relevant date to them (death of their last queen, Queen Victora, before they became a republic). I wanted my publishing date to be a relevant one to them just for fun aha.

In the comic - it starts Sept. 5th, 4959 (not set in the future; its a fantasy world and they started counting their years comparatively further back than us). This is the birthday of the protagonist, Gray Silker, and when she was released from juvenile detention; its common practice for juvenile offenders (with non serious serious crimes) to be released upon reaching age of majority, which is 18 in their nation

Mine's in a fantasy world with a different calendar, but the story proper starts on the spring equinox, so... March 20-ish-equivalent. the timing of the prelude is fuzzy but after that the story goes into motion with a sapphic meet-cute on the evening of the equinox!

In my story, there are no specific dates. Actually, the era in the story has a different calendar system than the present.

As for real-world dates, my comic was published on 2024/12/28.
