Hello! Am I missing something obvious or does the Tapas app not allow you to get notifications about activity (things like people hearting one of your pages etc)? At the moment I only see these if I go to the desktop site but I figured surely I'm missing something should be able to see this in the app too?
Btw I'm talking about the little bell icon on the desktop site.

you are correct. The app is lacking on sooooo many levels
There are push notifications for the app but you'll have to go into your profile settings and then under notifications just turn the on for library updates

Also I recall there being mention of our "walls" being added to the app but i've only seen it while in my browser (viewing the mobile version not desktop)
Also @TheFriendlyMan I'm not sure if it'll notify you about subscribers but if you click your profile icon you can check the number. As for who specifically subscribed that's only viewable on desktop for now. And the same for if someone posts to your wall as a public/private post. Another thread talking about the new discover section got some replies from michaelson and it seems they're rolling out updates so we'll have to wait and see what changes occur
Ah! Crazy, right? Realised I can never find the 'wall' that messages sometimes appear on too, and also sometimes don't realise there's a private message for me.
What a strange oversight, so cheers for at least stopping me hunting!

Thanks for that that's really helpful. I've taken a look and seems I already had those settings selected but I've turned on all notifications possible so maybe that'll work!
Yeah I mean I've got a grand total of two subscribers I think so it's not something I'm missing notifications on often .. but it just seemed strange to me to have notifications and wall posts and messages etc all spread around in different places.

I've visited the mobile site on my phone's browser and you can view your wall there as well as check notifications by the looks of it but it doesn't seem to be implemented in the app yet. but the forums do work fairly well on mobile and desktop so at least there's that.
