Questions about deleting chapters

If I delete a chapter, will the stats reset?

A chapter have its own view count, so the total views will be reduced if the chapter deleted, right? And so does the comments and likes, right?

In case I want to start fresh without actually having to create new work and confusing my subscribers, or just not in the mood for seeing it online (sometimes you hate your work so much you are ashamed that it exists).

Also please create unpublish option.

Not sure about stats, I only know that if a work is deleted, the subscribers remain on the work even if there are zero chapters.

Yeah, if you delete the individual episodes, it will clear comments/likes/stats on those episodes.

But what about the total one, will it be affected?

Tapas doesn't have many stats overall. Your subscribers will remain, but your episode by episode views will be lost because the episodes aren't there to show them. I don't know about overall views, though. There IS an option to "delete" a series, which would be your "unpublish" option. Since Tapas doesn't really have drafts or private postings like Tumblr or something, your options are really only published, scheduled, or deleted.

If you mean the one that's linked in your profile, that's a lot of work to just dump and start fresh. I don't think it would be too confusing for you to create a new series and start from there.
