What is your rate for a cover? What do your covers look like? How long does it take you to make one? Do you let your customers use your cover anywhere? Only on tapas? I wanna know!!

Examples of covers I've done for various clients with varying input from each.

Rates generally follow my normal commission pricing but are just a bit more since text and layout are involved.

Depending on the amount of detail, a full cover takes at minimum 2 weeks. Personally, I deliver a sketch first to the client and send an invoice once it's approved, and upon payment I will then work on the final draft.

Covers are for online platform use, so like Tapas, Wattpad, RoyalRoad, etc, but I can design for any sort of dimensions electronically or physically. If one plans on self-publishing with a cover I create, then I request that one buys the copyright to the cover image, which is an additional fee.

Do you accept your payments in ink on tapas or?

I take paypal (which I believe most artists do) and venmo.
I've also seen some people do commissions through ko-fi.

Not everyone will accept inks since not all of us have the support unlocked, but some people offered free cover service if you find them in the right time.

It'll vary from artist to artist but my rates are based around my commission prices but can go higher as it involves text, editing and layout. The base price though would be around $40 again depending on level of detail.

The last set of covers I've done for my own comics are these (still hacking away 3 more)

Length of time depends on number of characters and level of detail but can take at minimum 5-7 days.

My range is 80-150$ depending on details

Sometime I go around make free colored sketch cover for authors on tapas and royalroad, for stress release or warm up.

I don't really care what they use it for after I give the cover to them.
