much background, I woulda dropped this work and not picked it up until a week later.

If there's a lot of colouring to be done, a lazy way would be to do all the colours on one layer, and then shade with a multiply layer. Saves a bit of time.

This is the page I am working on. I always draw in pencil first before I fix it in PS, so some of the lines may look a bit sketchy. This is also two pages fused together because my skecth book is too big for my scanner screen. Lastly I always ask my fiance if he knows what is happening in the page without text, that way I know the actions are properly conveyed!

I don't work by page but by panel, here is the last one:

I do sketch, lineart, text and then color, mostly to make sure my text bubbles look good color-wise on whatever they sit on.
