Before she could attack again, Adam’s playful tone broke into the tense atmosphere. “Amaris,” he said, “Crawled out from out of your cave? What’s the special occasion?”

The woman narrowed her eyes on the boy, her smile twitching as she looked away from the teen. “Adam. I’m so sorry to have missed your last birthday. They are so precious after all.”

And then...

Adam continued, making a sound of discomfort as he steadied his stance, “I would ask how you’ve been since Trenton dumped you, but I don’t really care.”

“It isn’t like you to be caught by surprise. Lost your touch since ruining my marriage?” She gestured towards the teen struggling to sit up. “Or perhaps your simply preoccupied?”

XD Nope! Misty just straight up shot him down and said "you're not my type" and then this happened.

Saul’s face fell flat he felt he has been shot down to the lowest point of depression. He didn’t want to go on the mission anymore. He just wanted to crawl in the corner and die.

“Don’t worry Master Saul, I am sure you’ll find someone that you live up to their standards.” Misty said as rubs Saul’s shoulder while he’s on the ground balling his eyes out.

XD oh believe me that's one of the second-worst things that has happened to him so far. The first was in the fourth chapter but yeah his luck and life kept getting worse and worse in someway shape or form.
