can be categorized as fantasy/sci-fi , but have large element of actions or fights.
can also include dramatic romance, melancholic, horror, dark subjects etc.
can also include rom-com, lighthearted romance, casual...
"General" means the story's tone have a bit of everything and does not touted towards seriousness or lightheartedness overall.

Uh I got a question if non-furry people consider a comic a furry comic because of talking animals and anthros but it’s not focused on furry characters does that make it a furry comic or some weird middle ground?
I think if the main characters are antho/furry, it can be seen as a furry/anthro story.Also if it's a isekai type where main main character is human(or non-antho/furry) & other's are, that is also an anthro comic (it's like a self-insert for furry fans). Mostly non-anthro characters with a few anthros as side-character/sidekicks are not considered one (from me).
Yes there's middle grounds & not easy to draw the line, but the focus are more likely touted towards the reader's liking.

Meet Random a Red Cardinal who enjoys prop comedy and annoys his fellow feathered friends with different objects that he finds in the human world. Then, greet Norton, in a fancy way, as he is an Odd Ostrich who finds fulfillment by messing with the comic reality that surrounds him. Published every Friday.
Hey, I thought maybe my comic would fit the Slice of Life collection you got there? Given the discussion above I'm not really sure anymore what counts as a furry comic but all the people in my story are more or less anthropomorphic animals. So, I guess that counts?

Hi there! I'm new to the Tapas forums & I wanted to promote my ongoing web comic: Realms of the Fallen!
'Realms of the Fallen' is an anthro adventure of a Dragon Princess named Sirona that teams up with a thief and falls in love while trying to save her brother and the world from an evil demon! FANTASY/DRAMA/ROMANCE (Eventually...)
