I am currently making a book and I will love if anyone can rate this story structure.
A scientist has been forced to work on a death machine with a partner and because of a disagreement, an accident occurs and the scientist partner dies. Or so to speaks.
The partner encrypted his soul into the death machine breaking the laws of life. Hosting the machine, which primary purpose was to stalk and even murder political leaders (which means the physical appearance of the machine is most likely a ghost like) seeks revenge of being put in this appearance.
Because the other man denied the laws of life, the world still won't except him living as his destiny was him to die that day, so a black mist surrounds him giving him endless pain, and killing him slowly, molding him to the last second.
The only way to get out of this predicament is to change body parts, and with the power to host other beings (the death machine allows this to happen) the Bible, Quran, and other religious books have a coded message that states if this happens the only way to escape the mist is to take the body of your intended murder and let it be yours.
Arnik (the man who is experiencing all of this) goes to great lengths to kill his murderer and steal his body. Only realizing that all of his parts work, except his eyes. Only his sons match the way to escape. The genetic code of which parts work are also coded in the religious books.
The problem is, his son hasn't been born yet, and his wife is dying. So Arnik hosts a doctor's body hoping to save her life and saving the baby so he can live.
His next death date is also listed in these holy books, he knows the month, he has to find out the day.
