Post the name of your story or artwork of your ocs and let people make assumptions/random guesses about them based on what you share (or entirely ungrounded in anything but a visual impression, either way works lol)

She may be a sidekick or a main character working in a bar or flower shop.
Probably not in a relationship and a bit shy when it comes to that.

this bird looks sad, but also kind of ominous. maybe a villain who regrets his decisions, or a henchman who doesn't want to work with the villain?

I'm getting evil elf or fairy king rich boy vibes. he tries to win the hero/heroine over to his side with charisma but it probably doesn't work. maybe they find him obnoxious or disgusting.

General synopsis: In 2158, global tensions between Arga and Yuropa push the world to the brink of the Third Territorial War. I’ve been so MIA on the forums hello to all lol XD and I see a new character has appeared! I don’t much about her, not even her name, but from her pose I’m guessing she might be more shy? She seems to be a protective stance, but also she could just be contemplative. I guess an assumption about the story would be that maybe she’s dealing with her own vulnerability? Her dress is also giving a sort of mythological vibe too so I wonder if the story will also go in that direction. Curious to know the scoop! Give us a little hint of the new story

Possibly some kind of magic being, definitely capable of quoting entire old poems from memory. She’s probably knows how to play at least a few instruments. Her pose leads me to believe there’s definitely something tragic going on, and she does not share it with anyone.

It's actually an already existing story actually, "Mental Soup," but an unreleased strip/episode, since it's a comic strip rather than a long form comic.

And you are correct! She's both shy/hesitant and contemplative. The dress is actually designed more like a slip then a mythological vibe, but I can see what you mean now that you mention it lol. The comic strip is about her getting used to/learning to love her own skin. I do honestly love how this character turned out so much that I want to use her design again, might have to do character mirrors in my other stories the way you do XD. Actually, she looks kind of like Essence already, but Essence is a little darker in complexion

I think Pipin is probably mischievous and a little impish judging by his expression. probably a knight's (Geoffrey's?) paige, am I right? What species is he?

the character with one eye covered gives me curious adventurous "I'm the protagonist of an adventure story let's all go solve the mystery!" vibes XD.

The one with pink hair gives me much more contemplative, hesitant, and maybe even shy, "we should think this through" vibes.

XD, it's interesting how both people get ancient mythology vibes from her, maybe I should really use this design in another story with a mythological vibe. You did guess accurately about there being something tragic going on, but fortunately she's struggling through it and growing stronger

I think Pipin is a bit impish xD but he’s also a very dedicated Squire, he def looks more like a Paige though, but he’s actually 13 here. He is a type of alien that only grow up to be 3 feet, so he looks very young. He’s actually the only one of his kind in Butter Bee, he was an experiment made from old dna they found. But he has big dreams!

@beebutterbee She doesn't have an official name yet, but I want to make it sun or star themed (if you haven't figured it out yet I'm kind of a hippie) and make her a reoccurring character in something. I want to name her Sunset, but I think it might be a little too weird.

Mental Soup is sort of like diary entries and poetic musings, so they're about my thoughts, and Sunset was used to symbolize them. The comic is sort of about colorism but more about just learning to love and appreciate yourself no matter the reason why you don't think you're beautiful (features, hair, complexion, body type.) The final version (with both panels) is going to read "Beautiful creature, who taught you to lie to the mirror? Someday it might come to believe you, and that would be a tragedy."

I have yet to finish illustrating the mirror (second panel, I'm slacking lol) which will have lots of stains on it covered in hurtful words.

I've been making a lot more comics about beauty standards these days because it's been an issue I've encountered when working on my comics. I already want to illustrate more beautiful people of different complexions and ethnicities etc into my stories, but it just keeps reminding me how important that is.
