Episode 1
Close up of a woman’s hand wrapped around an empty martini glass. A drink is poured and sparkles follow. The woman lifts her hand up to her mouth and takes a huge swig of the drink. Once she sets the glass down, she lets out a sigh. The bartender noticed and asked.
Bartender: What’s got you down, Lydia?
Lydia: Well, Tina…It all started like this.
Bartender: (pauses) Um, Lydia…My name isn’t Tina.
Lydia: (slightly agitated) Then why are wearing her nametag?
Bartender: (looks down at name tag) Oh my bad…My name is Tina and this is my establishment…Go on.
Lydia: (chuckles) Okay…So...It happened over a week ago.
Flashback to one week ago.
A young woman and her friend are chilling on the beach. The woman is in a two piece off the shoulder pink bikini laying on her surfboard in the water. She waves gently to her friend, trying to coax her over.
Lydia: Come on, Trisha the water's fine.
Trisha lowers her sunshades and adjusted her black swimsuit catching multiple guys staring at her.
Trisha: No thanks…(smiled) The view is fine from here.
Someone called out to Lydia and she shifted in their direction.
???: Hey, darling look over here…
Lydia: (saw her husband riding a giant wave) You’re doing great, sweetie. (blows Jax a kiss)
Jax is caught off guard by the pda and falls off of his board. Lydia panicked and rushed over to him. He resurfaced and climbed onto his board.
Jax: (smiled slightly) Well, that was fun.
Lydia: (concerned) Jax…That wasn't fun for me, I could've lost you like…(starts to trail off)
Jax: (pats her on the head, causing her to blush) Dia…unlike Him…I'm not going anywhere…I promise.
Lydia: (kisses him on the cheek) This is why I love you.
Jax: (blushes) I love you too, Dia.
Suddenly Trisha shouts at them…
Trisha: Hey guys, I'm gonna get a ride home from this rando right here…if you don't hurry up.
The random guy: Ughhhh…My name's Zac….I told her like three times already.
Jax and Lydia burst out laughing and paddle toward the shore line. Once out of the water, the lovebirds walk up to Trisha. Trisha throws her arms over Lydia.
Trisha: Thank you for saving me from that rando…my sweet best friend. (snuggling Lydia)
Zac: (annoyed) Dude, I'm still right here.
Lydia: (apologize to Zac) I'm sorry that my friend is being rude for no reason.
Zac (blushed at this apology and threw his arm behind his head) It's fine…. (waves bye and goes to hang out with his friends) It was nice meeting you.
Trisha: (grabs Zac's arm gently) Wait rando…Here's my number, call me.
Zac: (laughs and brushes her off) How about you call me, when you actually learn my name.
Trisha: (pouted) But, I don't have your number.
Zac winked and ran toward his friends, shouting: That’s my secret.
Trisha blushes and looks down at her holophone…Zac's face pops up alongside his number. She chuckled and thought, "What a dork." She smiled and turned her attention to the lovebirds.
Trisha: So, did you two have fun?
Jax: (smiled taking Lydia's hand) I always have fun with my wife…and (fake cough) her tag along friend….
Trisha: (teases) Shut up….(whined) Dia, make Friendo…stop!
Lydia: (laughs) But your chemistry was what made me fall for him in the first place.
Trisha: Well, Jax is family…and I don't screw family.
Lydia: Wait, You're related…
Trisha: No, I’m speaking methodically.
Lydia laughed and wrapped her arm around Jax.
Lydia: Thanks for introducing us last year.
Trisha: (smiled) No problem.
The trio continue to their car engaging in small talk along the way, unbeknownst to them that someone was watching them in the shadows. Once they got in their car, everyone passed out. When the girls came to, Jax was gone.
