There are a lot of authors who put their works here (I do too), but I think we should give readers a chance to showcase their current reads, favorite comics or novels, and newly discovered works so that others can see those undiscovered gems.

So here goes, comment the novel or comics you're currently reading, or that you've recently added to your library and think has a lot of potential, as well as your current favorite comics or novel. I am currently reading Forgotten Queen by @EncryptedWriting since it's been so long. It's a great story. It's about magic and kingdoms (obviously). I don't want to spoil you guys so I'm not gonna go too much on the story, but you won't go "uurrrgh" reading this story because it's easily understandable and don't use too much jargons and whatnot so even if your not fluent in English, you'll get what's happening because the words and the phrasing aren't complicated.
Check their story out. I recommend this to people who are suckers for mystery, fantasy, and worldbuilding. It's a great read, I swear.

One of the stories I'm reading is The Old Man by @sevenstarsofeightIam and it's about an old soldier marooned on a moon being rescued after seven years, only to then be involved in a rescue mission to free a couple of old friends. I imagine some would describe the novel as "slow," but I'd describe it more as 'mature'. Not in terms of gore, language and whatnot, but in the style of storytelling. You can tell the author placed a lot of thought and care into his characters, plot and overall world. I think it's worth the read and suggest giving it a try:

As for my novel, The Colonial History of Tir-Torzor and Brief Accounts of Its Diasporas' Denizens [aka The Colonial History of Tir-Torzor; Colonial History], lot of thought was still applied to the story but it is mature in a different way. (Nothing too inappropriate though, but a content warning is required.)

Not sure if a synopsis here would do the story justice. Basically, if you like history books, dark humor, and science fiction, you'll probably love this:

my library is around 1k and my unread is nearing 150 so i've got a lot to catch up on to say the least BUT some of the main ones I'm trying to ive back into include these series for right now (also apologies in advance if i fail to do any of these series their proper justice while describing them but-)

Undivine i guess would be described as a sort of fantasy drama type comic, the charcaters and their attitudes are what grabbed me not to mention the way it plays on kind of challenging religous belief
i think it's done on it's own website but a good chunk of it is there

slow burn bl but the fantasy elements are what really grabbed me, kind of has stuff that hits on the concept of past lives and what i call soul ties but the characters are really sweet and the way the fantasy stuff bleeds into their reality is very cool and almost chilling at times

any comic with daydreamers tends to get me but it also has a big floofy looking demon guy and the way that and the not so underlying drama plays into everything reallly has me hooked plus the comic just hit a big climax recently so i'd say it's a good time to jump in <3

i'm usually not one for horror but the way this comic about a spontaneous roadtrip gone very very spoopy has grabbed me is nuts! also love it cos the main girls are aspec so amidst all the scary and suspense is some very cozy stuff between them

more dreamers with this one but it gets really interesting with the way the waking world and the dream world interact with each other. i think it's clear by now that stories whose characters interest me is a running theme but the protag and her friends as well as her ally from the dream world got me so good

if i could swap places with the mc and got the chance to meet a cool mysterious and suprisingly kinda funny supernatural pizza delivery guy i'd do so in a heartbeat. i've only made it thru some of the early chapters so no idea where things are at right now but again the cast has my heart and i'm looking forward to learn more

space drama but make it scifi and the robots are in love/very good friends. i cant even count on my hands the number of times i've reacted out loud to stuff that happened in this comic i enjoy it that much. there's a lot of cool worldbuilding stuff, drama and some romance mixed in too along with like really cool and interesting character relationships but also the drama

another livys comic but girl whose power comes from crying got me. i kinda forgot where i left off but i know it's got a lot of interesting fantasy elements

there's honestly a lot more i wanna get to (basically everything in my unread and ones i maybe might've marked as unread but didn't mean to) so i've got a lot of reading it's just figuring out how to pace myself

It's a great story with something new to give us readers and I love the MC Keon so much. I'm a sucker for sci-fi and BL and it has both! So I just adore it! Also, I like the short chapters because I can finish them fast.

Oh Gods, there is such a long list of books/comics that I've read and enjoyed and some I plan on reading.

All of these people created amazing eye-catching stories that I 100% recommend you read! (especially soft touch if youre into magical romance

I'm reading two.

Flowers That grow in Ash: By infinate.
It's got diffrent creaters and life forces idea's. Set in a world where titans killed the humans who destroyed the world and placed creatures there instead. Intresting concept.

The secconed is a comic, called The Commune by smokesalty. It's a cult story. Truly distrubing, but the art is so nice, and I'm very invested in the story.
