Rebooting an old comic: New series or delete old episodes?

Hello!

I was briefly making a comic back in 2015 called Space Deer, and I got a bit more than 1000 subscribers. Now I'm gonna reboot that comic completely, different art style, tweaked format and character design, etc.

But I see two alternatives as to how I could go about treating my old series on Tapas.

1. Delete all the old episodes and start publishing new ones, to keep my subscribers.
2. Delete or change the name of the old series and start a new series with the old name.

The reason I'm not sure about what to do is because I already have a thousand subs on the current series. But maybe there's some kinda algorithm-benefit to starting a fresh comic?

I feel like maybe only the Tapas team themselves could answer this one..?
