Recommendations about animation programs?

Hi! I searched a bit and didn't see any topics related to this so...

I really really want to make a version of this ending with my characters (dropping the link like that because I don't know how to make pretty links in mobile)

I know that krita has an animation feature that allows music integration, so I could work with that, but I don't know anything about the program (if it has any big drawbacks or something).

So, the question is: do you guys recommend krita for doing something like this? If the answer is no, why? And do you know of any other program you would recommend?

Hmm so i use clip studio paint for animation, but I have the more expensive version. I think they limit the number of frames you can do in the cheaper version. I know some other good animation programs are Toon Boom or TVPaint, but I've never used them. Also, since there's quite a few effects in this video, I think using Adobe After Effects (or something similar idk) would be very useful to recreate the look.

Krita might work? although I personally would say clip studio is better. especially if you have the full version.

Ah Kekkai Sensen has the ultimate ending~ Toon Boom is pretty good (albeit expensive) Opentoons is like a free version of it, though it crashes sometimes so you may have to deal with that? I personally use Fire Alpaca, though it doesn't have music integration. Clip Studio may be the better choice?

Krita is very hard to use in digital animation, there is no vector or animation grouping, also 0 tweeting. Basically it's traditional animation done clunky (hope it gets better in future)

I use OpenToonz since AnimateCC is too costly(fuck you adobe), it's a bit hard for beginners since there are too few tutorials but it's a very powerful animation tool when you get the hang of it.

Thanks a lot guys <3 I heard quite a while ago that clip studio didn't let you work with audio, that's why I didn't consoder it, but I just checked and I was very much wrong <3 I really hope they have a sale soonish so I can upgrade

I'll most likely stick to clip studio for now, but I'll take a look at the rest :3c

Yeah, it's s newish feature! Actually, I heard that Clip Studio is replacing CELYS' (or whatever the creator of clip studio is called) old software that anime studios would use. So it will soon be an industry standard tool for anime!

I got Clip Studio EX (the more expensive one) for £70 when it was on sale. What a steal Apparently it goes on offer quite often!

Clip Studio Pro has the same feature to make GIF and Movie file, but they limit the frame count.

Yasss I just checked. I never bothered to do so because the fact that there was a tight frame limit and "no audio" (that's what I believef up until today x'D) made the feature quite unappealing, but I just tried it out and it's super fun
