Relationship with a underaged character story, is it okay?

Just like the title says, is this okay?
I have a friend who has a novel and wants to turn it into a comic. however one of the characters is a minor who ends up having a sexual relationship with a much older person and yes there is graphic coitus involved. so the question is, is it okay to post something like that here on Tapas but of course without the graphic sexual scene but hinted or is this something thats just unacceptable.
is the scene is posted it will just be on a private website. not here on tapas.

How much younger is the younger one since age of consent is not "age of adult" in many countries and states in the US.

If it's hinted then you can mark it as mature and it should be fine unless they're like young but I think the message in the story also matters, if it's fetishized and celebrated it's more likely be under scrutiny, but if it's like a psychological thriller thing you can also be cool. I do recommend going over the ToS.

I think as long as it's not a graphic (like hinted as you said) and the behavior is encouraged is okay. Still put a mature tag and perhaps a warning beforehand (can be disturbing for some)

really, wow. I don't know maybe they are just way too strict. the ages of 17 and 29 I personally don't think is too outrageous. I won't enougrae anyone to date someone that far apart but thats part of the idea of the story.
like I mentioned before. there will be no sexual intercouse. maybe hugging, kissing nothing more than that. anything else will be viewed outside of Tapas, there won't even be a link to show nudity. just you will have to join Patreon to view further.

if the younger character is 17 then i would adjust the comic to be set in England , where it is legal for consenting sexual activity over 16.
while i would not show any sexual scene you could still show edited nakedness (such as from the back)
the whole point of stories like this is they are taboo and thus invoke curiosity, but when tastefully done like most scandals make for good entertainment.
At 17 this would not be a problem in England although the age gap might be frowned upon, most would not give a dam aside from a bit of extra gossip. as long as sex scenes are done tastefully you should be ok. but if push comes to shove you can just sell the comic privately.

I always found funny how there's such hard and, let's face it, completely arbitrary cut-off of "matureness" in he law. I know a few of those supposed "underage minor children" that have voice deeper than mine and could snap me like a twig, and probably have more bed-wrestling sessions in a year than I had in my entire life. Same sex couples in the UK don't have different ages of consent from straight couples anymore they changed that a while ago.

anyway, i think this age gap is kinda gross, so regardless of if youll get away with posting on tapas i still think its not 'okay.' as a youth worker and 19 year old, im very aware of how vulnerable, unstable, and completely clueless every 17 year old is - every 17 year old - especially compared to someone pushing 30. i get that fiction is fiction, and if this relationship is being explored critically and not romanticised, thats fine, but... yeah. skeeved af

as for the age gap i dont think it really matters after the age of consent as long as the two people love each other. i have been in a relationship myself with a big age gap and the only problem with it came from other people looking down on us. depending on what happens in this story I dont see why it should not be on tapas, people might learn from it.

Anyway, 17 years is greater than the age of consent in a HUGE amount of countries, so I doubt that it worths worrying at all.
