Hi!! It's been awhile since I last posted anything.
I'm just here to talk about my experience(?) regarding my own comic project(s), and future plans.
Back in 2018, I started drawing a series called PUPPERONIS
It was a fun experience! I've rarely drawn comics before, let alone in a long webtoon kind of format. Everything started off simple, cute, just silly fun - similar to its title.
Though soon, I've gotten rather ambitious, wanting to have a coherent plot and wanting to add in characters' backstories, characters growth, etc. Though the backstories and character growth were sort of planned way before this series happened, my plan when I started this comic was just to draw some silly shenanigans.
But yeah, as you can see, I've lost track of what I wanted to do, and everything got out of hand.
I ended up with at least 3 or 4 different docs of the timeline, script, lore, character information, etc etc. Not necessarily a bad thing, I enjoyed fleshing out everything. But it did end up overwhelming me in terms of making everything into a comic!
In the end, I kept taking hiatus that lasted way too long because I kept getting burnt out, haha.
But I still miss this series and the characters a lot.
However, I've came to the decision to restart the entire thing - to go back to how it's like before-- but not exactly.
After much thinking (and more google docs o)-< ) , I've found a middle ground. Something simple, yet able to have a plot, but mostly focusing on the silly funny nonsense that I always wanted to have.
I will be posting the revamped comic here as well as webtoons in 2023. And I hope that things will go smoothly this time round!
