If you've been out for three years, your previous audience are probably dead subs; it'd be best to start fresh, rather than pick up exactly where you left off. That typically works better for whatever algorithms they use as well.
That said, a big part of early success with a webcomic comes down to promotion; not just here on the forums, but regular promotion offsite on places like Instagram, Twitter and Reddit. You have to put in the time, if you want to be seen.
Don't do sub-for-sub, you want active readers, not meaningless numbers. Inactive subs hurt you in the long run.
