D and Nancy are both nerdy outcast weirdos. Nancy is probably one of the deadliest characters in the entire comic since I've been tinkering with the idea that she's been "decommissioning" isekaiers before. Despite being a secret agent badass, she isn't a stable person. She's one huge mess. Like at first she may seem like the quiet straightman, but as the comic goes on she outcrazies the cast and if you're caught up with the comic, THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING lol.
D on the other hand is full of anxiety, but has the potential to be the best dang anime protag on the planet. Dude is super weeby. Nancy doesn't mind all his talk as long as she's getting attention from another person her age (also she's a fan too). Here's a small spoiler; Nancy thinks D could die any minute due to her profession and the funny thing is should he die, she'd be okay with it since he's like her... sixth boyfriend.
In retrospect, I think it's funny that she sorta looks like a pray mantis. I think I should probably play that up more because of their weird ritual where they eat their mate's head. Not saying she'll eat his head but like... she should probably stop dating in High School if she knows full well her boyfriends will inevitably die.... she's THAT desperate for attention. I should probably stop dissecting Nancy's character since she's just this absurd rabbit hole.
Btw you guys think she should pick up smoking?
