Rp to test out a new character of mine

Nyxi kinda looks sympathetic then sits down like a cat does and skips stones across the water,
“I mean, Lucy sounds like a nice person. And so does Aurelia’s wife....Even Selenius used to have a wife-“ Her eyes go wide and she covers her mouth and looks away gasping.

“What is it?” Marcus asked, looking around. “Is someone here?”

[NyxiTheLynx]

Nyxi’s eyes darted around the cave entrance and her ears rotated to try and pick up the sound of the intruder,
“I wasn’t supposed to tell you that. And also...” she leans in closer and her ears kinda pin back,”yes I think someone may be here.” She grabs his wrist and pulls him up. Then she whispers for him to follow her and she dives into the water.

Marcus dove under the water with Nyxi.

Nyxi grabs your wrist and leads you down to the bottom of the lake, she kicks crystals on her way down and the impact causes them to light up and show the way. She motions for you to dive down deeper into the underwater tunnel.

(Also I was just thinking abt a song earlier that gave me huge vibes for coming up with this scene. It’s called Afterlife, it’s in an album called Warrior songs by TheFatRat. It’s a really good song.)

Marcus followed Nyxi down to the bottom of the lake. He wasn’t sure where they were going, or who was in the cave with them, but for once in his life he was willing to go on a little adventure.

Nyxi swims around a corner and surfaces into another cavern that’s pitch black. She throws a stone and it hits a crystal creating a beautiful and haunting melody as she shakes off her fur,
“We should be safe here, this place is called Mad Moon’s Falling.” She looks around at the other worldly plants and crystals. The dripping of water on the crystals is almost calming and the soft glow is comforting.

(Also the song Threnody in the same album is great for this scene I think lmao.)

“Wow...” Marcus said, taking in the beauty of the cave around him. “I never knew this place was here.”
Suddenly he was curious. He turned to Nyxi and asked, “Who do you think was in the cave with us?”

Nyxi sighs,
“I honestly have no idea. I thought I was the only one who knew about this system. Well me and Selenius, but she would have screamed at me from the entrance like she normally does.... I heard metal scraping the ground so I got scared. I didn’t want to take any chances,” She looks around the cave and then goes up to the side and pulls down some rocks to reveal a passage,”Come on, I made a back entrance that leads through my safe house. I’ve had a lot of time on my hands believe it or not, so it’s pretty nice.” She smiles while still trying to catch her breath from the swim.

Marcus stepped into the passage after Nyxi. “Your safe house?” he asked. “You have a safe house in hell?”

Nyxi looked down a little embarrassed,
“Yeah I guess, I mean I just use it to get away from Selenius when she ‘has people over’ if you know what I mean...” she reddens and cringes at the last part,” I don’t use it that often so it may be a little dusty.”

“Ah,” Marcus said, nodding. “I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’m used to a little dust.”

She steps through a curtain of vines, and as your body brushes against the flower buds in the vines they open up and glow. Nyxi’s safe house is a cavern decorated with nice blue and purple decor. Rugs cover the hard stone floor and pillows are piled up in one corner, a low table is surrounded by sitting cushions and a small burner is at the center,
“Make your self at home.”she walks over to a wall and taps a small crystal which sets of a chain reaction that lights up a string of crystals adorning the ceiling of the cavern which itself has many crystals in the walls.

(Sorry for the long-ass description. Ah ok! Good night dude!)

Marcus watched in awe as the crystals lit the room up. “How did you find this place?” he asked. “It’s so... impressive,” was the only word he could find to describe what he saw.

Nyxi takes a small kettle out from underneath the table and sets it on the burner,
“Well, long story short, I stumbled upon it when I first visited hell. It was about 6 years ago,” she turns on the burner to start boiling some water. She then takes out two cups and sets them down,”I used to only know about the upper levels but I then dove into the lake and found this place.” She motions around the cavern.

“Wow. That’s really cool,” Marcus said, looking around. He sat down at the table on one of the cushions. “So uh, what do you think of Hell? It’s not often that we get visitors.”

Nyxi walks over to a small plant and plucks a few leaves, she then goes over to a box and puts in the leaves and pulls out different dried leaves. She puts the leaves in the kettle and sits down,
“Well, I’m not actually telling you the entire truth?” She cringes on the last word.

“Oh?” Marcus asked. “I mean, it’s totally fine if you don’t like it here. Not many people do.”

[NyxiTheLynx]

Nyxi sighs,
“No it’s not that. It’s just...the thing is...” she’s searching for the words,”it’s actually about Selenius, I’m not the one who found the cave.” She looks you dead in the eye,”Selenius isn’t who she appears to be.”

“What do you mean?” Marcus asked. He suddenly remembered that Aurelia was alone with Selenius, and started to panic. “Is she dangerous?”
