Yeah, as an example...on a different app, our groups comic got a snarky comment about the length of one of the episodes. Being a anthology collection of varied short stories, this was a comment more about what they wanted/demanded us to be instead of evaluating us on what we are.
In a very non-confrontation manner, the writer of that episode addressed the comment by explaining his personal philosophy of every story having it's own space that it lives in..some smaller, some larger. Then he thanked them for reading and casually warned them they were bound for further frustration if they expected us to fit solely in the boxes the commentor wanted. It was perfectly balanced.
I likely would have just called their momma stupid
