I must say that the idea for this novel came to me during a time when I felt lost, I had so much going on in my life and I had to bring some order to the chaos in my head. The main character is somehow similar to me.
The events involving other characters are also inspired by experiences I’ve been through. It’s true that the setting of the novel involves magic and fantasy, but the emotional core and many of the situations reflect real-life moments.
So yes, many elements in the story, especially the emotions and conflicts, are drawn from reality. The world itself is fictional but shaped by what I perceive and feel around me.
