Well I'm in SK, Canada at the moment, so that's normal there is lot of snow. Back in France, though, temperatures seem to be a bit on the hot side. I can't wait to be there (another 3 weeks).
That being said once I left SK at -6C and arrived in France just in time for a -19C with snow haha

I'm not sure about English, but in Hungarian vegetable and fruit are merchandise terms, not biological. Still people keep saying nonsense like "did you know tomato is a fruit?".

Merchandise or biological, we once ordered a fruit salad in China and it was melon and grapes... with cherry tomatoes and sweet mayonnaise. It still haunts me to the present day

Maybe it's the same in China. They also define these things by what kind of shop or section they can buy them. And they put everything exotic in one category. Still I'm not sure about tomato is exotic for them or not :DD

It's really not, I suppose they just don't care To their credit I only saw cherry tomatoes used in sweet dishes, so maybe only they are seen more as fruits, being more sweet and all.
In the end I know we have green pine-cones jam and watermelon peel jam here, so yeah, this sounds crazy too
