Super nervous about starting a thread ‘cause this is my first time ever making one. Okay here goes. So, I decided to check out ‘Firebrand’ on Webtoons yesterday and found it to be under Legendary Comics. Same way with Acursian and Pacific Rim: Amara, too. I checked out Legendary Comics own website…

"As part of the campaign, we will organize a health event that includes aerobic sessions, healthy lunch sets, free health screenings and seminars." ...please don't kill me [:cry_01:]

Hey! Welcome to Tapas! Hope you'll enjoy it here

Teaser 2 of 4 is done! Tweaked a bit here and there. [image]

Some concept/teaser art for my comic  [image] [image]

I have no idea why, but I've been dreaming of tsunamis for about 6 days in a row now. At least, an impending tsunami that hasn't come...yet. Never even thought about tsunamis in my waking life so I have no idea why I'm getting these dreams

I'm dropping my high expectations and how I'm always reaching for perfection. Perfect isn't real, but improvement is. Also, my traditional mindset of "work as hard as you can = instant success". Work smart, not hard. After all, why take the long way when there's a shortcut? [image] Let's work sm…

Looking good! Love the textured brushes and the overall pacing, but maybe you can enhance the texts a bit, make them a little larger...then all should be great! Wish you luck!

Break through that writer's block and publish my first comic!

He'd probably kill me off for making his life so damn hard :joy:

"Do it today or regret it tomorrow."

Congratulations, guys! It was fun to be part of this

Oh dang. Do take care of yourself though! Whatever it is, health always comes first!

Try to fix it. If all else fails, I just shut down my laptop and turn to my comfort food :joy:

Backgrounds, colouring...and character poses, I guess haha. I just had so many takes before I find the suitable pose...being extremely indecisive just made it worse.

But hey, on the good side, if you’re able to create such wonderful pieces in the past, then that means that maestro is already in you! Just give it a lil’ more push

Soprano? Oh no piano.

I can relate to this so much. I coincidentally stumbled on this thread right after being severely disappointed with a recent piece of mine, so I'll chime in. It seems as if no matter what you do, failure is always lurking there around you, haunting you wherever you go. Perhaps I can say that failure…

I'm playing Metro: Last Light right now, got to immerse myself in its universe before moving on to Metro: Exodus

I know making an animation is furthest away from easy. Animating fighting sequences are especially daunting, but you did it, and a really good one at that. Love your use of layering and camera angles. Great job!

A little retouch on an old piece...very uninspired lately. [image]

The Crow Prince. One of the boys from my story. Not used to drawing cutesy stuff though haha [image] [image]

I don't think I'm limited to just one dream haha. If one comes true, sure I'd be completely ecstatic, on cloud 9 and everything. But sooner or later it'll pass, and I'd find myself going towards another new goal. If it fails, I'd still find myself going for a new one all the same. It's a cycle, I …

A bit late to the party, but I took a peek and the whole thing’s just so...so... [image] Congratulations, Sketchylinez!

That’s one of the most interesting visual literacy I’ve ever seen :open_mouth:

Ah, the prologue. The bane of writers everywhere. I’ve been struggling with mine as well, having a completely different universe with completely different species. So I understand how you feel. Publishers hate them, readers skip them (or so I’ve heard most people say), but I disagree. I think prolog…

Have been really indecisive about my art style lately, especially when it comes to colouring :sob: [image]
