Scenes or Lines From Bad Movies That You Unironically Love

Are there scenes from bad movies that you love or stick with you?

Like there was one specific scene in Lorax that I still can't stop thinking about ever since I watched it as a kid. Main character's late to one of his meetups with the Oncler because of him trying to get red head Taylor Swift's attention by throwing his plane into her yard by "accident". And the Oncler is casually like "Oh okay... who's the girl?". And then he says "Usually when a guy does something stupid... well... he's just being a guy... but when he does it again, it's because he's trying to get some girl's attention".

I think that was the ONLY moment where the film felt genuine. It felt like something a real grandfather or old person would say to a kid. And it's just that one simple line I dunno.

Second one is this scene from the Resident Evil movie reboot.

People talk about how the new Resident Evil games are so "gritty" but when I played 2 Remake it was pretty... goofy (in a GREAT way like... Ada literally says "It's super secret weapon time"). This film constantly tries to get you to take it seriously, so when I saw this scene it just captured the spirit of the game perfectly. I have it saved in a playlist since I loved it so much lmao.

The Street Fighter live action movie from my childhood is mostly awful, but has just a couple of fantastic lines and this absolutely iconic scene between Ming-Na Wen (damn she's aged well!) and Raul Julia (Legend, RIP):

Points to this movie for portraying her closer to the OG version (MK3) bec I didn't like when she lost her bewitching vybe in MK 9 videogame. Guess since they doing all those mk movie homages in MK 11, they totally need to add this in when she fight Kitana

I love how the Street Fighter devs in Japan still love this movie today. I remember watching an interview with the new producers and they were like "OH WE JUST WATCHED THAT THIS MORNING!". Also Bison's explanation on how is powers works is I think canon now in the mainline series?

IDK if this counts as a bad movie, necessarily. I think a lot of people consider it bad, but then a lot of others unironically think it’s iconic throughout. The scene in the original 2000's Fast and the Furious where Brian (MC) is introduced to the whole crew is probably one of my favourites. It’s actually a pretty good 5 minute introduction to 7 different characters and it also (hilariously) oozes with sexual tension between everyone except for the main couple.

Warning - some swearing and one casually-dropped slur for gay people in the dialogue.

I wouldn't say it's a bad movie, but it's a movie I personally was really moved by that a lot of people think is trying too hard to be deep.

I'm an atheist and I often ponder over the mortality of humans and have a lot of issues with it. So that line really hit me.

I literally haven't even seen the movie, but that line still takes of gigabytes of my subconscious, another line from something I didn't even experience personally "Me? Gongaga" from final fantasy kills me every time

I also watched a lot of abridged animes when I was in middle school, and I am plagued by thoughts of them still

I wanna say The Others but I think it’s a example of the inverse.

As a story about accepting both one’s mortality and responsibility, it holds up. The family in the film does go through a cathartic character arc.

The only thing I feel really betrays the film is the fact that it’s a horror film with the funniest scares I ever seen.

It’s more of a decent film with what would’ve otherwise been a fatal flaw if I didn’t get ironic enjoyment from it.
