Searching for an artist to illustrate a webtoons project

Title- Moonlit scales
Genre: Fantasy, Mystery
Tone: it’s going to progressively get darker as the story develops.
Format: vertical scroll (webtoons), with a goal of expansion later
Target Length: 35-50 panels, this is a variable more than anything. I’m thinking it’s going to be around 20+ episodes. With future “seasons” being a high probability.

I’m a writer looking to collaborate with an illustrator to bring a Webtoon project to life. The story is based on aspects of Lakota mythology. A 15 year old girl, and her companion (an otter type creature) are sent on a quest to discover why the animals that the tribe follows migration paths with aren’t migrating.

I’m looking for someone who:
• Has the time and energy to start a project
• experience would be nice, but not necessary
• Is open to creative input and collaboration
• Can commit to a consistent schedule (we’ll agree on one that works for both of us)

Compensation: I have no money to give, this is a passion project for myself and a friend of mine. We are absolutely willing to split revenue evenly should any be generated through WEBTOON’S, Or any other source we release episodes on.
Timeline: Really just trying to release as soon as possible. Realistically speaking I have no experience with illustration. So I’m willing to be patient as long as consistent communication and some progress is shared bi-weekly.

I have not the time, because I am drawing my thing right now, but I really hope that you find someone with who to work with! The story seems nice!

One thing that I would suggest, though, its that you add some images of the style of drawing that you are searching for in the collaborator, and if you have a link to read the first chapter, or something alike (as another work from you), so the wannabe collaborator can understand your style better.

So I added episode two for a small idea on my writing style. If I meet someone and we come to an agreement story board for episode 1 will be shared. We can work together to refine that process to assist with the artist side of things. I would like to add that the artist should definitely give me creative/constructive feedback. I am not sold on any type of specific illustration. I like the idea of something realistic like ATLA but am not opposed to something close to Gravity Falls. I want the artist to have a lot of creative freedom in this project
