I’m busy writing a novel that’s written from two different perspectives. I could call it isekai, but with a twist. The first part of the novel is about the male leads gaze. He meets the female lead and she tells him that she’ll help him with his revenge. She has the sources to and she is willing to lay down her life for him. So she does.
That’s when the male lead, who is the bastard of the emperor and the third heir is seen as the emperor. He succeeded in his mission, with her help. But all he can feel is sadness. Because he realized that all he needs is her. He realizes he’d only been using her, not appreciating what she did for him. How she sacrifices her title, her honor and becomes the scapegoat of scandals. He turns back time, and this time - he becomes her sword.
In the second part of the novel, we get to the female leads point of view. Here is explained why she helped him.
