Some things you have to know about me:

My portofolio: https://todonovelcomics.carrd.co/8

I'm Todoyama, a 19 year old student settled in Europe, with two Novels finished (Summer Bummer and Please Game), both started and finished at 19 years old, and two more, one-chapter ones (Peppermint Factory and Samurai Service the short Novel). As well as a short one-shot "What the Pen?!" which I have also started and finished at 19 years old.

I am also active daily, I love writing, going to the gym and indoor rock climbing.

Favorites shows (Cartoons): Regular Show, Adventure time, Samurai Jack

Favorite shows (animes): Erased, Silent Voice, Naruto, Berserk, Lookism

Favorite shows: Arcane (season 1 and 2), Squid Game

What you will have to do:

  1. You have to write a story either short or long and publish it under the studios name. Important: the story has to be original and posted nowhere else.

A few reasons why you should join:

  1. I will take care of a simple cover for the Novel ( text + colored background)

  2. After the Novel offered to "Summer's ending Studios" is finished by a writer, and posted on Tapas and/or Wattpad, if I like it and if the story has a good flow, I'll consider with an artist to adapt your story into a webcomic/ manwha/ manga/ one-shot (story), with you as the main writer, and me as the supervisor, which will also be posted on the profile of "Summer's ending studios"

I'm sorry... but you expect writers to write a whole novel under your studios name. Not theirs. Then, maybe if you like it or it goes well, you'll try and recruit a team to put it in a Manga. And you're supervisor? What are you doing exactly?

I don't mean to be mean. I really don't. But this sounds like you want novels under your studio name w/ the actual writers getting no sort of recognition.

Heyy, I'm trying to build a studio. Everyone can see that I'm not a fraud or a scam and I'm an active person. No one is forced to join. The conditions are specified. Anyone that wants to join can do it willingly.

Thank you for your reply!

You know, the fact you say "everyone can see that I'm not a fraud or a scam" just makes it seem a bit more shady hahahahahaha.

Also, EncryptedWriting is correct, what sort of advantage does a new writer get from this deal, in details? How would any money gained be split? Will there be contracts involved, so each party can better protect themselves?

I doubt there would be many people willing to do it when self-publishing is already complicated enough as is.

But I hope you find success in your venture, regardless of everything.

  1. I have been working on Novels and manga making for two years, and I have a strong backbone in being a veteran on these forums.

  2. It's a collaboration between people that want to start writing and me, someone that already failed countless times and learned from his mistakes

3.There is no contract involved. I have discord, insta, tiktok and 9 series, do you really think I would still be here if I wasn't trustworthy?

  1. (4) Then no one would try to grow in this industry. I'm sorry but what are these questions? Am I not allowed to grow a studio? Do I have to use my last penny for others to help me? Am I not allowed to have my own studio?

Thank you for the reply and have a great day.

Along the lines of the previous post, I agree there are concerns about the conditions.
Perhaps, there is a misunderstanding between what is being read? :sweat_02:

For example, it is possible that the conditions can be Story "A" or possibly Story "B" (with assumptions) -- but these are very different.

  • Story "A" - The writer will need the password for Studio's Tapas account to post their work (without writing credit?) while the unlikely worst-case cover could possibly be made with fill bucket and text in Windows Paint. Support will NOT be provided unless chosen to undertake the even larger task of creating a comic. This is how I am plainly reading the conditions, and it is possible others may too. Is this accurate to what you meant?

  • Story "B" - The writer will post their work under their Tapas account and distribute credits where due -- Aka, drawn by artist, written by writer and any support provided by StudioAnon (if any) such as beta-reading, editing, collab-writing, etc. I think this would make more sense for a collab, but this is fully based on assumptions that should be confirmed in the conditions.

Anyways, may there be a good collab for your studio.
