For the guy on the left, I heard that mullet hairstyle is too outdated to use. Is it a turn off for you? (sorry the drawing is a bit ugly it's just a draft page)

not really? mainly bc his hairs curly. curly hair like that doesnt really register as 'mullet' in my head. kinda just looks unkempt in a nice way.

besides, sometimes a terrible haircut makes a character more endearing.

I agree, it didn't read as a mullet to me, just long curly hair.

Even if it did read as a mullet - Keith's popularity (Voltron Legendary Defender) sure didn't suffer from the mullet-like hair. Just sayin' (;

I think your design looks fine, and that comes from someone who absolutely hates when her pixie grows out to a mullet... Like right now...

I don't think its outdated really, and even if it was I think if the style suits the character and their personality its fine to use anyway.
But that being said, I think it looks great and I wouldn't worry about it. The fact that the hair is also curly kind of takes away from the mullet look, like others already said.

It's hardly a mullet. If anyone's got one, it's Gladio and he's still hot af.
