Hello! My name is Yan, and I am looking for someone who can be both a co-artist and a co-writer (in general- a co-creator ahaha) with me on a short series. As I am a student myself, I don't want to this to take up my life so a more laid back partnership where the point is to have fun, but all the while displaying our ideas to the public would be nice~ I hope that we can both take our sweet time with this, as long as we finish it some time in the future, say it be one or two years for 10 episodes, I don't mind as long as we are satisfied with the result!
I'm looking for someone with similar interests to build this series with me! I have a few general ideas about where I would like this to go, but I have not set anything permanently yet because I would like to build it with someone together from bottom up. Here's a brief outline of what kind of genre and theme I have in mind:
- Romance with some angst (but not too much drama), NL, BL, GL... all's good with me!
- Comedy, slice of life, school life/modern setting
- Some fantasy is good but not too much- maybe vampires, angels, celestial contracts, etc. or apocalyptic stories are quite interesting too!
- If not angst, I'm also good with a more light-hearted one-shot
As for what I am looking for in a co-creator, I have a general idea:
- Someone who is willing to work on this in the long term with me!
- Someone willing to draw- if you could draw backgrounds that would be great because I'm terrible OTL, or lining/coloring artists are good too!
- Someone who can write and storyboard fairly well- we'll do that together of course
- Someone who is willing to create and understand the characters in the series as much as I am
