Hey all! I’m looking to team up with an artist (manga/webtoon/comic style) to bring a surreal, heartfelt, and wildly absurd slice-of-life comedy series to life.
Project Name: QUADRICEPS (aka QUAD)
it’s not about muscles. It’s about four (quad) weird high school boys running wild — physically, emotionally, and socially.
The Premise:
In their third year of high school, four eccentric boys — Itsuki, Souta, Renjiro, and Lee — navigate life in the bizarre and unpredictable Oborozuka High and outside of it
They run a totally useless but sacred afterschool group called the “Nothing’s Happening So Don't Bother Club” Club, where they bond, argue, and daydream about life after graduation.
The Main Cast:
Itsuki Takahashi – The neutral, self-aware one. usually voice of reason. can be over-the-top sometimes. Often absent due to "budget cuts" (a meta gag).
Renjiro Fujimura – talkative, unintentional comedian, responsible for 75% of crazy s**t happening, hip hop head, lovable idiot energy.
Souta Aizawa – Quiet, deadpan, sarcastic, maybe a little emo, very creative. His dad’s in the Yakuza. low-key likes Manga and Hentai. low-key pretty boy.
Lee Yoshino – Athletic, hafu (half Black/half Japanese), the group's "big brother" figure, very intelligent (when he wants to), really like Chocolate cupcakes, kinda popular among boys, especially in sports.

Looking For:
An artist who vibes with absurd humor, stylized characters, and expressive paneling
Ideally someone into manga/anime or toon-inspired styles
Open to Webtoon-style vertical scrolling or traditional page layout
