Okay, so first, my comic is:
That said, it's a pretty slow burn and I'm only going to be posting up the 9th comic this Saturday. There's not much action to it, and while it is horror that will only become more readily apparent later in the series. It hints toward it a bit now, but it's not obvious. So I knew to begin with when I started creating this series with my artist, I'm the writer, that I'd be looking at something of a niche audience. That said I hoped to find a vocal audience in that niche and hear what people thought of it.
As of right now at least here I've only had one comment so far and while I'm thankful for it, I'd like to see more and draw out a sort of conversation, as well as hopefully increase the audience size. It could just be that I'm impatient, I only just started posting my comic here after it's recreation not even a month ago, so eleven subscribers might be a good number here for that length of time. It's possible that as stated it's just that the fact that there's quite a bit of build-up and people maybe have not seen enough to really develop opinions or come to like it yet. There are any number of possibilities, what I'd like to hear is some opinions and possibly advice from others here.
If you have the time could you take a look at the comic and tell me what you think so far? Does it interest you? Do you need to know more? If it doesn't, why not? Even if it's just to say that you don't think there's enough yet, would be glad to hear that, too.
Would also like to hear opinions on how to draw in more of an audience for it, and get that audience talking, especially from other people writing something in the horror genre or more on the longform-side of things.
