Have you ever read a comic written by a psychologist?
My name is Carlos, I'm a psychologist with a love of TTRPG's. Long ago I created the world of Masks to tell the story of Danielle, a young adult that suffers from depression and anxiety, and is unable to move on with her life.
In this first arc, she is faced with a serious question: Should she hide who she is, or should she risk her wellbeing for the sake of others?
That probably sounds like a traditional superhero story, but without spoiling too much, I'll just say it isn't. And my beta readers came upon a lot of surprises.
