Oooh, I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread, gotta pop in and see what rad little treasures are stowed away~

One comic I really, really enjoy is @enshogirl's The Paul Reveres and I can't recommend it enough for those who might enjoy American History through a punk rock lens (gratuitously addictive and stylish characters as well)!

im not limiting it to one bc then i always go for spire, my faaaaavourite comic, a scifi/fantasy about vampires on a quest to become human while being chased by slayer robots. its got great cartoony pacing, both dramatic and hilarious, and beautiful art.

fear full is a horror comic with a great, simplistic halloween aesthetic and really creative page designs.

thera is a really well drawn robot dystopia that kinda reminds me of sky blue crossed with the astro boy movie. its beautiful and compelling.

kamikaze is one of the first comics i ever read on here. a dystopia about free running and spies around the edges of a desert city, with a really cool protagonist.

Ooooh, hard to narrow down to just one, so let's go with two!

Roll Real Role - Chinue, who suffers from depression and social anxiety, gets invited to play a tabletop rpg with her friends. Full of sweet characters, nice artwork and dicerolls. <3

ASCENT - a lone diver wanders the bottom of the ocean, knowing not where he is, where he's going, or exactly how to get there. Also, adorable squid. <3

Weeeeeell, let's see, there are so many awesome stories! XD

First, let's start with Blood Stained Snow by @Genjiotori - it's fantasy story with feudal Japanese setting - her art skills are so amazingly detailed and the story is very good <3 It's about humans serving dragons and thus gaining some of their power - for a prize though @_@

Theeeeeen.... I'm totally with @KoreanTacos concerning @sefra114's Story Oni x Fox! =) Fun to read, very gut expressions despite masks... and always worth the time! XD

Runewriters from @shazzbaa is one of my favorite stories here on tapas! It basically has everything I like: Fantasy, magic, chaos and awesome characters! Also, it's pretty interesting that the main character is deaf =)

@Ensyis' comic The Origin Story is getting exciting now - it is said that behind the forest lies another world...

Demoniac Verse by @hushicho tells the story of a total sweetheart of incubus <3

And just recently found: Love Metal by @HVOICE - finally a GOOD comic about my favorite music genre! X3

There are SO MANY MORE awesome comics on my reading list, but let's go with those first =)

Sooo many great comics out there, it's hard to pick just a few, much less only one.

Magickless: the fallen god of magic and imagination is stuck trying to impress an all too practical girl. Interesting story, great expressions, cool monster designs.

Guardian Ghost: ghosts and the people they saved (whether intentionally or by accident) must fight monsters every night to keep their second chances. I really like how dynamic the art is on this one (plus the great story and characters, obviously).

GRANTED: Lee finds a genie in an unusual container and decide to go on a fantasy adventure. I love how this story plays with traditional fantasy tropes in really great ways without undermining its own story.

Orionis Zeta Inc.: Orion's failure to die properly has further torn up the already fragile fabric of reality, and now some low-level cosmic entity is expecting him to help fix it. I really like the blend of humor and story here, and all the dialogue is just great.

Oh man I have way too many to recommend, but I'll just pick a few.

Non Non and Coffee Shop by @tsujin are both amazing series. It's so easy to fall in love with her characters, they just have so much personality.

I also highly recommend reading FaLLEN by @ogawaburukku It's a magical girls manga with a dark and edgy twist. Great characters, iconic character designs, interesting plot, and not the mention her artwork is amazing! All of her pages are made traditionally too, screentones and everything, which you don't see that often.

I'll try recommending romance fantasy from all of spectrum, because that's what I love

If you like BL with adorable themes of angels and demons and not just boys banging each other, try I'm Mortal

If you like straight romance with a dash of fantasy adventures and a bit of political themes with gorgeous art, try Re:Set

If you like GL who focuses mostly in the drama and relationship of a princess and a knight without being too "pandering", it's a little bitterweet as well, try Her Last Fairy-Tale

If you want a comic that will leave you drooling rainbows, I highly recommend you check out World of Wishes. The art style is absolutely beautiful. Enough so that I find myself keep going back and staring at it for a long time. The premise of the story as well is really an interesting one and really sticks out and isn't afraid to take risks. So yeah, go check it out~

I recommend monsters crowd creatures call , its a very cool webcomic about teenage monsters like werewolves and vampires and its told from their perspective and it takes place in the 1980s. Its not your typical monsters, its got like magic that makes them different, and my description doesnt do it justice! Its got some rlly good LGBT representation. its rlly good!!! i recommend it especially if you like scott pilgrim bc it kinda reminds me of that.

Always gotta give a shoutout to the reason I started making comics again: Fantomestein. Beka is a genius and does a great job of keeping both Phantom of the Opera and Frankenstein intact while creating something something different and engaging blended from both of them.

The Angel With Black Wings | Tapas

Comic about an angel and a bullied kid. Very similar to my comics but less intensity and angst.

Not the best when it comes to theological accuracy... But I like this comic overall.

Very accurate portrayal of bullies and what they do. At least how they tick in Asian schools... Bullies over there would actually go the extra mile to get into a fight with you and none of this walking away from a fight would work.

Revenge of the Queen one of, if not my fav comic at this point in time. The art is absolutely gorgeous and the story bas a lot of interesting fantasy elements. Really recommend <3

Yellow Neon a super cute comic with a really charming style. I really love the characters in this one and their interactions are great!

Strawberry Seafoam The artwork in this comic is absolutely gorgeous, especially the coloring! It's a cute comic about magical girls in the ocean

I have 4 favorites:
The Beehive by Lollibeepop - Super relatable stuff, creator posts a lot of cute drawings on social media.
Wolf Wizard by Aimee Polanowski - Fun, story with lore and secrets, and her Twitch streams are great too!
Daily Thoughts by StarGlow - Funny and with a nice art style. She draws a lot of traditional art too!
4amShower by Guy Kopsombut - Just the happiest comic that'll even make the toughest guy smile!

(Also, my comic is on the reading list too. It's the easiest way I can keep track of the comments on mobile)

Vanishing Woods

The art style of this reminds me of Japanese woodblock paintings and the storyline is unique. I love the interaction of the main character and her 'tree'. It gives me the nostalgic feels similar to when I read the "Redwall" novels.

Here's a few off my reading list (i have an obvious bias towards the supernatural, so bear with me:)

Toil and Trouble. its fairly new, and i really like the art and character designs.

I love reading these! Everytime I see an update from either the comic or the author in general, my heart skips a beat! Literally!

This comic is just the cutsest little thing! The Bromance is strong with this one, it is!
Dragon Husbands

I love this author in general! Their art style is so different from others I have seen and I think they are very orignal with their content!

This series is great because even thought it is really diverse and represnts many if not all aspects of the LGBTQ+ spectrum, but it dosen't let their difference define the character! Also, it take place during the 50's !
Rock and Riot

This artist is an all around good person and her comic, Monster Pop, is great! 10 out of 10! A must read! Maya Kern

Last for now , This person makes super funny comics! I love him so much!
