Agony is confident and doesn't care what other people think. Like... she really doesn't care. Like she kind of tries to tick people off on purpose.
“I’m…” The woman paused, “My name is Ruby.” She said tensely. “Might, might I ask who all of you are?” She asked as the old woman patted the space next to her on the trash she was sitting on.
“Sure thing,” said the woman in the green puffer, “My name’s Agony.” she said and lit her cigarette in the fire.
“Oh, of course, by all means, introduce yourself first.” said the bearded man dryly.
“Oh, just introduce yourself! You sorry bullshit factory!”demanded Agony.
“Fine!” the bearded man croaked. “I’m Thesis.” He made an exaggerated gesture of putting out his hand. Ruby did not shake it.
“I am Duenna.” Said the old Woman. “Very pleased to meet you.” She said with a little bow, then looked around the fire at her companions. Everyone rolled their eyes, everyone but the man in the blue suit, who just continued to stare blankly into the fire.
“I’m Motif.” The Man in the sunglasses said, “And this, here is Sequel.” he gestured to the man in the blue suit, who did not move.
“Oh my,” Said Ruby, “Well, I’ve got to say those are some awful funny names.”
“Their nicknames.” said Thesis gruffly.
“We don’t like to use our real names.” Explained Motif.
“Those names are attached to a world that no longer exists.” Duenna explained, shaking her head sadly.
“So dollface, what’s your story?” Agony said with a long drag on her cigarette.
“Oh, sure ask her that.” Motif sneered.
“Typical narcissistic behavior,” said Thesis, “asking others about themselves so that you can have an excuse to talk about you.” Agony reached over and smacked him on the back of the head, were it not for the chain she might have cost him his glasses.
“It is such a rude thing for a woman to be violent.” Said Duenna disapprovingly.
“Fuck off Duenna!” Agony cried.
“Such Language!” Duenna gasped. Agony repeated herself and Motif nodded.
“Couldn’t agree more, Aggs. Swear words fucking rule!” Motif grinned and nudged the man beside him, “Don’t you think so, Sequel?” Sequel didn’t move, let alone speak.
“I asked the woman what her story is!” said Agony loudly.
