Mine's based on my username CorgsCof which is short for Corgi Needs Coffee. So she incorporates corgi aspects (the ears) and coffee aspects (the cups). Why corgis and coffee? Because I love them both and alliteration!

I actually found myself drawn to using a character I originally designed as one of the comic characters. She ended up looking so much like me, I was like "that should be my avatar" lol

I generally use stylized drawings of myself as my author avatar. I have a self-portrait I drew to use for an avatar icon, and I've also done a little chibi version of myself when answering QnA questions.

i tend to rotate between these

this is basically just me but in cartoon form and sometimes i'll rotate looks based on whatever i'm into atm like lately it's been a mix of hades and pokemon (specifically fixating on team skull and guzma) so it'll lead to stuff like these

other one is this loser whom i've altered a bit because- (idk wasn't satisfied with the look anymore)

and then Mono who was a vent oc that turned into the mascot for more mature-ish stuff. also the name is a play on my usual moniker so it's vibrantfox and monobun (not entirely a rabbit tho)

My author avatar is pretty much me, but the outfit belongs to one my oc's from my series.

I occasionally draw myself for various things, mostly forum/website avatars and the like. I don't have a real consistent way of doing so so it changes each time basically xD For example, this was for a specific event back in September (and my current tapas avatar):

So like... yeah the art style and outfit/hair cut basically change every time lol

This is obviously not me in real life, it's my mascot Mariposa. I use her for whatever branding I do. She's a revamped OC from a magical girl comic I abandoned in middle school.

Ive been using a BW chibi-me for the last 15 years (it has varied a bit thorough the years but mainly on the lenght of my bangs lol)

Haha, yes I do! She's a mess pixie. Mess pixies are the opposite of spring cleaning fairies. Like the autumn winds scattering leaves across the landscape, mess pixies generate clutter and untidiness wherever they go.

The name was bestowed upon me by my partner, whom is on the receiving end of all my mess pixie tendencies.

I don't really draw myself for my stories. I usually draw myself for my profile pictures or occasionally I'll pair myself with an OC of mine. Since my hair is constantly changing so is my avatar lol, but here's my most recent one. I usually keeps the eyes pretty consistent by giving myself cat eyeliner as well as the same shape eyebrows every time. I really need to go back to this one and smooth it out and fix some spots. I was a little lazy with this one.

In Tapas, I don't know why but i prefer it to be non-portrait picture, I don't think is much big deal just showing texts. Maybe it's because it's my primary site to upload comic so that i want to be 'formal' about it?

Also the background: the coral red is the color of my series protagonist. the wavy shape is actually the zoom-in "bandana" on my protagonist.

I don't think much about making my own author avatar, so i make this like 5 minute and it's done. What is that anyway? This is originally made for my ComicFury avatar, now also used in Pixiv account.

I make an extremely low effort couple of chibi faces since we tend to "show up" on weeks when I am exhausted.

This is on my project list though, to make something better.

Currently using this one on all my accounts anywhere. I also usually don't draw myself that often, rather do I draw anything else but that xD
But I thought 2021 was the year when I should maybe sneak in a new icon after a very long time, so I basically did that.

I came up with a small robot thingy to represent myself back in 2019 when I realized I should probably have an Author Avatar to show up in my works when I need to make announcements and stuff. I should probably use him in profile pictures and the like more often, come to think of it....
