Wow, I am totally in love with your designs. You deserve way more subs!

Here are mine, done last year. The drawings on the left are their old designs in 2011 (I revamped my comic last year)

The comic:

woooow that's amazing!!! i can see A LOT of improvement, you should be really proud of yourself!!!

oh, i made my own brushes exclusively for this comic (photoshop)! but they are not special, i just made a lot of hatching, and used that to create a pattern for the brushes, and then use the eraser with another hatching brush to give that effect!

by the way your designs look lovely!

Oh wow, everyone has really interesting character concepts and designs- they're all amazing (maybe I am biased to designs w some fantasy elements but whatever haha)! I just realized I didn't have a lot to share (since most of my designs are on paper), but I did want to input that everyone's designs are very unique and lovely to look through!

Generally, I design things on paper, then I move final art designs to digital! I generally don't tend to design digitally.
I also found it to be useful to just use free bases if I'm JUST designing the clothes/ hair! <: Also, for some strange reason, I tend to really sketch/ design in paint than any other programs haha.

haha if anyone can guess, the last three are designs based off of pokemon!
also i have no consistency in styles;;

Whoa! I agree with @Rivana. Your comic deserves way more subs! Holy crap, the art is amazing.

I don't have any particular way I design characters, I just draw them enough times where I feel comfortable. For Callous, I developed the main characters fairly well before starting.

I like how well you can nail down giving your characters substance and depth through gray-scale/black/white, I could never get the hang of that. It's also really nifty to see the construction/sketches framing out the finished product, it really creates a fun image. The effect you get on the little girls glasses with the lens glare is really nice.

Your comic continues with the great use of Gray-scale, there's a great vibrancy you've captured without color and it's extremely impressive. Nicely done and keep up the great work!

I love the character design process, everything from sketching them out to creating their backstories.
Here's mine, long form comic that I haven't gotten enough out yet to make much sense, but I still have fun making it regardless.

wow!!! so many amazing designs! glad to know there is so many talented people in here!

Here are some of mine

Love your style! The hair on the girl looks amazing!

I had no idea what I was doing when I made the reference sheets for The Changeling's Sister, so this was all I had from the start (if they look copy pasted, that's because they totally were >.<).

I redid them some time ago, since I find them horribly outdated and unhelpful now.
