Share your Comic Conventions in 2016. (tabling or attending)

Mega Con is in Orlando, Florida and is one of the biggest cons in the state! I go every year and I figure it'll be a good way to advertise! I'm also going to try to make articulated wings for the costume =D

I think if you are going to make the wings perhaps you'll have to make a small one unless you don't intent to do commissions at the table. I don't know how mega con is but you'll probably know best. It sounds mega fun!

I might try the application again. I did use Google Chrome auto-fill and maybe that screwed it up. Just hope I don't get charged twice.

As for Big Apple Con, this will be my first time going. I did do WinterCon last December and it's run by the same people so I suspect it will be similar. I mostly saw either indie/self-publishers or artist working in the industry there, but no real big name booths like Marvel or Dark Horse. (I actually met my Sophomore inking teacher Nelson there. That was weird.)
I thought it was good but I was talking with the people tabling next to me, who also do webcomics. They said last year's WinterCon was better. We suspected that it was because Star Wars was coming out soon and that's all people cared about getting (sooooooo many Boba Fett cosplayers....). Hopefully since it's well after Ep VII's release, people at Big Apple won't be as picky.

It's strange that there's no place to buy tables on the website. Hopefully there's still time, though I had to send half the money before August to make sure my table was reserved. If you email him tell him aspiderjonny@aol.com send you.

BTW: Just to be clear, do you remember exactly what happened after you submitted your East Coast form. Did a message show up or did it go back to the main site. I'm just trying to on the safe side here.

*I'm testing the auto -fill on the form right now and I noticed that my name doesn't show up correctly on the "Bill to" section. Only the last letters I actually typed. This could be the problem.

I think you're thinking of TCAF for tabling every other year! I actually love that policy (not that I've tabled at TCAF) because it spreads the wealth to the number of creators who want to exhibit.

Fan Expo is an absolutely huge show that's sort of more focused on becoming SDCC North. It had ridiculously awesome guests last year, but the layout of the convention centre is such that they exiled the artist alley and exhibitors from the celebrity going guests (who were in the north building). A lot of people saw a drop in sales from this. Simply put, though, as the attendance is rumoured to be ~140k, there's just no better option for a venue than MTCC! It's craziness, but I love it. I've had the same table for several years now, and there are fans of mine who know exactly where to come to see what new things I have to sell

Any idea when they start opening applications for their Artists Alley? I can't get any info on it. :/

I'm attending at Amecon in August and (hopefully) tabling at Birmingham Comic Con in November. I'll just be selling trinkets and make giving out sneek peaks of my comic >w>
I'll be having a table in Confuzzled in April? I've helped with my partner's table loads of times there but it'll be a first having my own.

Oh no, not exactly. I use to go to PRCC years ago as well as Kaisen and other local conventions but as a cosplayer and would participate as such. This would be the first year I go as a local artist! : D

I'm just up here in Alaska with our one convention Still, it's better than nothing! If there's more cons then I don't know about them ;n;

I really hope to attend Senshi-Con. I've been wanting to go to a con for the past few years with a booth, but something always comes up to where I can't. This year, the hubs and I have been particularly planning and stashing funds away so I can attend to sell my comics :3 I guess we'll see!

I've been doing London MCM Comic Con for the past couple of years, so if all goes well, I'll rebook it for May and October 2016 as soon as it's available.
Thinking of Thought Bubble again, but not 100% sure I can attend just yet.
I'd love to travel abroad somewhere, but i might wait until I have more material out to warrant the costs - maybe if we ever release a trade with multiple issues?

@shaylafarley5 There are several sites and all of them update periodically depending on how many conventions are confirmed throughout the year so definitely be sure to check up regularly. Usually if you type in "Conventions 2016" something will pop up, but here are some sites:
